A programmer in this role will work closely with the lead programmer, designers, artists, and musicians with a great deal of autonomy to develop new tools and improve existing ones.
Design, implement, debug and document new content creation tools

Follow coding standards and best practices

B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
3 or more years of C# required, C/C++ experience preferable.

The Technical Artist will help establish and maintain aspects of the art pipeline. He or she will work cooperatively with artists and programmers to create rigs and tools that provide the artists with all they need to integrate art assets into the game engine in a highly productive manner. Day to day duties include environment, effects, character rigging and animation pipeline support, as well as the design, creation and debugging of scripts, tools and processes for the broader art pipeline.
Technical Liaison for external development teams
Ability to create low- and high-polygon environment objects, characters, and other models based on art direction and gameplay requirements
Understands and maintains production pipeline and workflow
Helps determine new production pipelines when necessary
Document technical aspects of tools and production pipeline
Provide technical support for the art team

3 years experience within the gaming industry
Familiarity with scripting languages

Petroglyph is seeking a local candidate who has strong experience in playing MOBA style games (such as LOL, HON, DOTA). The Production Assistant is assigned to specific tasks on a day to day basis. Production Assistants are expected to fill in when needed, to provide support to production teams, and to do what needs to be done.
The Production Assistant works closely with team members to bring a high level of polish to the game through qualitative feedback.
Ensures the game meets a high standard of fun and playability by evaluating every aspect of the game throughout the development cycle of the project.
Presents evaluations of the game throughout the course of the development cycle to team members including suggestions for improvement.
Reports and tracks all reported issues, performs bug regressions and verifies fixes as requested.
When required, assists all departments in other various tasks as assigned.
Must be highly technical. Scripting or programming skills highly desired
Intermediate PC software/hardware knowledge
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Extensive MOBA Game experienceAble to work occasional long hours.
