The UI Scripter will work closely with the production, code, design and art teams to create a highly interactive interface for multiple game titles using the Scaleform engine and Macromedia Flash / Actionscript.
Integrate design requirements into new and existing user interface code and art assets
Implementing new UI game elements using Macromedia Flash and iterating and polishing them into a final state.
Working with core UI programmers to improve the functionality of the system
Document and follow build and integration procedures
Work cohesively with a team of programmers, artists and designers
Flash and Design support work for company website
Active participant in regular team meetings related to productivity, process, work flow and quality
Excellent knowledge of Adobe Flash CS3/CS4 and ActionScript 3.0, used to create animations interactive navigation menus and tactical game UI
Good working knowledge of Photoshop and other Adobe / Macromedia tools necessary for web and game interface design work
Sense for intuitive design for the purpose of functional UI.
Experience working on a development team and the ability to proactively recognize and raise quality issues and suggest appropriate resolutions
2 years experience within the game industry or on highly interactive web content
Must be an avid gamer with a passion for creating great games
Ability to work independently and to be self-directing
Able to work occasional long hours.
