[arcadianemetai]

This is getting annoying, this is like the 4th game that doesn't work on Vista Properly for me... As it is I can't use ANY of my older games because Vista is not NEARLY as backwards compatible as it should be.

Anybody have a clue why this is happening for the ones of us who have responded likewise?  If this in any way reflects the general trend for this game thats a lot of people that it doesn't work for.....

Look for them either in My Documents or in the game root directory.

Kelathin - will do, once I almost finish it again, kinda didnt realize it was the last mission until the bug occured

I have finnished it a few times even restarting from the very beginning. Here is my last saved game as I knew what was going to happen its at 99% done just have to watch as the last walker dies.

I have a question to all those people who had this bug, were you sighned in to Live when this bug occured?

Ive attached my save game also, hope this helps the devs to find the root of this problem

I thought Id look at arcadianemetai's dxdiag to see if there we had anything in common and the answer is no infact complete opposites im using intel, nvidia and prelude 7.1 sound (creative xi-fi) whilst arcadianemetai is amd, ati and onboard sound. The only thing we have in common is vista and even then mine is 64 bit ultimate and arcadianemetai is home premium.

Unlike arcadianemetai this is the only game I have had trouble running and to be honest im getting close to taking it back with all the problems that there have been with it. Shame cause I like the game.

It may be a bad disk, I think you may be able to exchange it for a new one (I could be wrong though)

Hmm, I dont think it is. Everything else works fine, and I am not even on Vista, runing in on XP SP2

Thanks for that. It works a treat won't get any achievements but not really bothered about that.

Strange thing is if you restart the map get the cutscene and it plays fine something somewhere must be stopping the game from finishing in the novus campaign.

The only other thing is from the main menu I cant choose play novus.

Once again thanks at least I can play the game until they fix this with a patch and I can then earn my achievement points to proove how great I am

Hey I got this problem too. Its very frustrating because I decided to reinstall the game when the patch  come out and now im stuck. :/

My specs
Intel Core 2 Duo 6600
Radeon 2900xt
Audigy extreme gamer xfi
2GB 800Mhz DDR2 Ram
XP SP3
I'll try the save but I hope a real solution can be found.

NICE!!!, none of the newer games I have have any problems, just some of the ones that were made3 for 98-xp have problems.  Starcraft works fine, proving that blizard knows what it is doing.  Earth 2150, Mechwarrior 3 though don't even install.

The save game works like a charm, thanks a lot

I suggest that a new topic is created and pinned here and in tech support forum so that people who have this problem wont have to go thru the entire topic to find this temporary solution, also it would probably be best if the save game was uploaded to the Petro servers since I dont know how long it will last on Rapidshare.

Save game is to be placed in the My Documents\Sega\UAWEA\Save directory.

Seems I've got the same problem. It's weird that the game just keeps playing.(Get the "black hole bomb ready" remark). So gonna give the savegame a go untill they find out what's wrong. Here's my DXdiag. Maybe it can help. Darn vista. At the store they said that if I paid €50 they would put XP on my laptop instead of vista. With all the problems I think that's exactly what I'm going to do.  

Anyways thanks for the savegame.  

Btw: I don't have a rapidshare account and it says my download limit as a free user has been reached. Anywhere else I can get a hold of this save?

If you downloaded something before downloading this save game wait for an hour or two and you should get access.
