We just played a ranked match and just when I was about to win, you "lost" your internet connection...

While I am satisfied of having won against the #1 player, I am saddened to see how unfair the ranking system is.

Doesn't really seem like him. I've played with him around 6 times now, won 2 other 3 he won and final one was a desync. He never quit on me

He doesn't de sync in Conquer the World. I beat him twice with the same result.

Funnily enough, one of those loses was what lead him to the Hierarchy=Overpowered.

Funny thing how when I am winning and other people desync, it was always the internet, but when I play other people and they APPEAR to be winning and the connection drops, it must be a dc right?  Get over it and yourself.

H is op on certain maps, you must not good enough to realize it.

HELLO!  Novus do not get cows and Gulf Coast doesn't have any cows to begin with wtf are you talking about?  

Besides, I'm not very good at N/M vs H and that was a player match anyways, I was trying but it wasn't like I wanted to variant rush and kill your glyphs before we had any fun.

God, do people think before they post on these forums?  Frickin' Xbox Live noobs and PC people that have never played GFWL get one connection error and the next thing they do, instead of private messaging me or checking the dashboard to see if I actually did that, they go onto these forums and start a rant... assuming all sorts of crazy things (I'm apparantly a homosexual modder-nerd that doesn't know how to play RTS games according to a few different people) and we know what assuming makes you!

I play dozens of games a day, Ranked, CtW, and player.  I get lots of desyncs, but instead of assuming that people did it in purpose (no way of knowing) I give em the benefite of the doubt.  For you noobs to Live here is how it works:

1.  Desync probablity is greatest within the first 5 minutes
2.  Desync chance is greater on large maps
3.  Desyncs can AND do happen frequently (blame PG or MS, your choice)
4.  You cannot tell if someone did it on purpose, unless you see them at the dashboard
5.  You can desync against anybody, even if you play them alot
6.  Playing Cross-platform increases the desync possibility alot
7.  Playing with more people increases the chances of a desync
8.  Playing with people overseas makes it worse in all ways and desynbc is more likely
9.  People will leave you bad feedback for winning/desyncing/rushing/EVERYTHING



What can we deduce from all this?

DESYNC ERRORS ARE PART OF THE GAME.

Look, that was a Ranked Match. How do I know this? Because I don't play 1v1 player matchs.

Gulf Coast does have cows. They are to the right of the top base. In the game, I tried getting them with a Reaper but your base was in the way.

No. You didn't ty to Variant rush but you did do the Mira rush and your excuse at the time was because you wanted to try the effectiveness of a Mira rush on the Hierarchy.

After I said you could have taken it in Player matches you sent this message.

So you are saying you would have won?

Cmon I can understand that it might be a connection problem, but please ADMIT the game was not going very well for you....

I destroyed about 6-9 defilers, about 12 saucers, one of your assembly, 4 or your reapers, your detection drone, your arrival was at 70% health, you had 6 saucers around your second assembly walker (which had one arm destroyed and no other upgrades) and I still had around 10 inquisitors with light 3 over your base.

Why? Because this is standered argument procedure on games forums.

Step1. Try and sway opinion.

I didn't say you weren't in a better position (although I did have Orlock coming with more reapers and carvers around if you didn't watch the rep) but that doesn't mean anything.  If it had happened 3 minutes earlier, would you say the same thing?  Did you see me in dashboard?  Make assumptions much?  The game wasn't anywhere near over, but instead of talking to me, you childishly started this thread.  

@ Dark Berla, if you don't want to hear my opinions don't read em because I'm entitled.  I don't think your H is all that great.  If you wanna get offended by every little word people say, I think you should not plug in your mic.  I'm thinking you're the one who is more serious about this, getting offended, trolling me, watching my replays, asking me to beat other people, trying to prove whatever.  That looks like obsession to me.

I dont really care about my ranking and my losses.  I am even PROUD of saying I lost 21 ranked matches.

But I do care about people admitting when they lost and not reducing it to a technicality.


BTW, the thread is not childish ( I am not responsible for what other people bring to this thread), disconnecting on purpose is a legitimate issue.

And JAGX, the least YOU could do, was to send me a message stating that something went wrong on your side... It was not MY responsability to go and check if you were in dashboard or to PM you asking explanations. I gave you a couple of minutes to see if you would send me a PM and you did not.

Like I said, I am willing to admit it could be a connectiion problem but the fact that the first thing you said was that I was only appearing to be in a better spot told me much.

I watch replays. So what? Maybe I enjoy watching great games again. Watching your replays is because I know your better then me at Novus so I looked at it and learned something. Me getting offended! Not so much. The thing is, that comment was out of no where. One moment your talking about how Hierarchy are over powered and then all of a sudden you start saying I suck.

Sure, maybe I can be petty sometimes but at least I can admit it. But then, I wanted to see if that guy was just n00b bashing like I though he was or if it was a coincidence that he only played player matches 1v1 on maps that are clearly over powered as Hierarchy.

It's my fault that you're not aware that the game has major desync issues? (I would excuse you for this becuase you're on PC, but I know you are you're on the forums alot and you should know better)  And it's my fault you started a thread with my name in the title bashing me?  And it's my fault you assumed something instead of asking me/verifying it for yourself?  And it's my fault for not messaging you after the game glitched? Why the hell shouldn't I expect you to message me with an explanation?  Oh right, that's absurd!!!

As stated above, you were slightly-moderately better position, but I'm not saying you won.  I had carvers/orlock/walkers/saucers/arrival site/grav turrets and $$$, it wasn't anybodies game-- maybe the people you beat can't do anything with all of that, but I certainly can.  If you want we can do CtW sometime, but I'm not rolling over to boost your ego Guiz.  So if you don't care about winning or ranks or whatever, then just drop it.

Noob bashing with H eh?  Check the Gamestrata boards I have more M wins than anyone else in the top 10 and a lotta N wins too.  I simply prefer H.  They are actually at severe disadvantages on large maps with no instas.

Yea I just let people think I dc online (if they choose to assume so) b/c I'm too lazy to explain  1-9 above to people who don't wan't to hear it.  Prob why the leave me bad FB or even when I win leave me bad FB.  All I do is text them a smiley-wink if they accuse me, in retrospect, I don't think people took it they way I mean t it lol ;')
