I'm amazed by the fact that a Dutch magazine is the first to have an article on it...

Thanks for the scans, Venture. This will be an epic RTS game, here's hoping there will be a better story.

As for Tyranids............. they will most probably be in, so don't worry. Relic said multiple times that Tyranids are too "cool" for an expansion pack. :)

neva, enough with historical wars, it's time to move toward into the future :D
It's not about being original, it's about hiding the fact that you aren't.

I didn't like Company of Heroes, but I'll keep my eye on DoW 2. After all, it can't be any worse... can it?

- Uses the Essence 2.0 engine with Havok physics, all optimised for DX10 and multicore support.
Well this is great. Getting tired of the old graphics in the game.

Quote

- Preview only showed a destroyed city landscape, akin to DoW (but more detailed), other tilesets will offer deserts, jungles, mountains and other cities.
No snow? Why must every RTS now a days shun snow?

Quote

- Only the Orkz and Space Marines were revealed, more races on the way obviously and to be to revealed later this year (though how many isn't known).
This is kind of obvious considering Space Marines are huge in Warhammer, along with the Orkz...hopefully Tau will be in it and not a expansion.

Quote

- Co-op campaign for both the Orkz and Space Marines, apparently not for the other to-be-revealed races.
Seems like a little inspiration from Red Alert 3, eh?

Quote

- You'll fight your way through the campaign with the same squads.
For some reason, this just doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Is there still gonna be base building?

Quote

- You can't control more than six squads! I am not sure if this is campaign-only but the preview made it sound like it wasn't.
There goes any hope of massive Space Marine and Ork battles.

Quote

- The campaign lets Space Marines operate from a spaceship, you'll get a view of an underlying planet and you'll be able to choose from different missions (which are tagged with difficulty colours, green, blue and red).
Seems like this is taken from StarCraft 2...since you can pick main missions and side missions from a shuttle.

Quote

- No sea or air units (though jetpacks are still in of course).
Still amaze's me that Air isn't in this since after all they did make Homeworld.

Mountains are usually covered with snow  - in other words, I wouldn't worry if I were You.

So... because a bunch of professional review sites (whose credibility is in question, especially Gamespot's) liked CoH, I have to? I have something called an opinion Gorays, and I didn't like CoH. I don't care if everyone else did.

Wooah dude, I know you didn't like COH, and that's fine. Everyone has his/her opinion. I didn't say you had to like COH. >_>

I was just saying how succesful COH is, the people who didn't like it said "it was yet another WW2 game", which is true.

Your race is too young to be in the first installment.
