I don't know how common this bug is, I'd assume it was very common, but I can't seem to find it mentioned anywhere:/
anywho, it seems if you assault a planet where the enemy has MDUs, and you destroy all other units except the MDUs you'll get the victory message, and the battle will end. However, you will not have conquered the planet, since the enemy still has MDUs on it, and the units you used to assault the planet are stuck on it, because you won't be able to move the groundforces on an enemy planet.
Smart way of making a planet unconquerable - just hide some MDUs in a corner and even if the enemy destroys all your other landunits, you'll get the defeat message, but you'll still own the planet, and the enemy can't do anything to take it from you:/

Interesting. They're probably missing a <Victory_Relevant> tag. Another problem that I've noticed with the MDUs is that the AI never seems to actually deploy them.

Its in the Buglist, hope Patch will fix it, anybody else know an quick solution ? Could also be a minimod .... !!
