Visited a tech store in a new mall~

The M11X is so thick it's crazy ridiculous (although unsurprising for laptops that have big internal fans). Clevo machines have that thickness too thanks to their cooling fans (which are a lot)
Magnesium chassis is sweet build quality though.
Oh and the ones in the pic are pretty up to date models, using dual 5870 ATI GPUs.

An F-series Sony Vaio. One of my fave laptop designs. It's got a really generous screen size/compactness ratio (16.4"). I would've loved to have owned one, but it's not gaming capable
(it can't run SCII on maxed without less than 20fps)

Wacom Intuos 4. I'm surprised how small the drawing area is compared to the whole surface area. It's practically the same drawing area size as my wacom bamboo, which is half the size in total surface area, and also more than half price cheaper.
