So I've had this game (the gold pack version) since it came out.  It has installed and run fine on every machine I've ever owned up until now.

What happens is when I put the disc in the autorun loads but I cannot click any of the installation options.  Sometimes I can hear the disc spinning and stopping like the drive cannot catch it (I've tried every DVD drive I have).  

So I figured no problem and went into the actual setup.exes in the various folders.  The FoC one works but won't install because (duh) there's no EaW on the computer.  The EaW one however, is absolute fail.  Every time I click the setup.exe it crashes explorer.  I don't even have to double click it sometimes.  So I'm stuck unable to install EaW .  

I've seen this issue posted several times before... there were never any replies I hope because it's a super easy fix and not because nobody knows .

I would really appreciate your help since not playing AotR is killing me .

(Also to all the people saying you cannot play mods on goldpack... just make a MODPATH shortcut :\)

Hey, sorry the answer took that long...

You have two options you can try...

1) Copy the contend from the Disks to your harddrive and try installing from there
2)reinstall your DVD Rom drivers. maybe this support site is helpfull for you: http://support.micro...4060#letmefixit
