Yeah it seems to be the way of these things...
It's a 9 step process:
1. Try
2. Try
3. Try again
4. Pain
5. Suffering
6. More Pain
7. Date!
8. Rejection
9. Repeat
J/K
Anyway it's definitly not something for the faint of heart. I wish you all the best of luck...I wouldn't want to do it again!

Then you are most lucky, because for my life so far the cycle has been:
- Hope
- Humiliation
- Pain
- Pain
- Pain
- Pain
- Pain
- Further humiliation
- Pain
- Pain
- Pain
That's as far is the list goes; after that it just becomes the present day.

I wish I could stop trying, but I can't help it, especially when there are girls out there so beautiful and so sweet as the one I like at the moment.
Edit a day later: Oh my god, the cave is shrinking! There are only three threads left! CAVE IN!!!!

Cataclysm = Coooolnneesssss
it takes Homeworld and adds more coooollllneeeessssss to it, though you enver run out of resources and it is a very easy campaign, and also the graphics are very outdated but still managed to lag the shizznit out of my PC.
RC = Mediocre, never got past geonosis (first level)

to get away from all this depression,
can you people tell me about Republic Commando? and Homeworld Cataclysm?
if you've played it of course!

I've played the RC demo once, it was pretty cool, but you did need to get into it (ordering your fellow commando's etc.) and it was indeed rather difficult.

I can get backstage passes (not for you), but I think I'll date with Girl 2 instead of going there
Or you could take your girl with you to Graspop of course

Hang in there buddy! I called Allied Atheist Headquarters, We are coming to save you!
I'm back now- and although I appreciate the effort, Piglet, the trip was bloody awesome! It completely cured my depression- sure, I'm still completely in love with the aforementioned girl, but I'm not so depressed about it any more.

Seen her? Yes
Spoken to her? Yes
Told her I love her? Unfortunately not. That was why I was so depressed beforehand.
However, she might know by Monday. Before I came and for my first few days there I was at the absolute height of depression, and my friend (who went with me) said that he was getting sick of this and that he was going to tell her if I didn't. Sadly I didn't get her alone (she's got lots of very close friends, only one of whom I trust enough to have them there if I told her) and he sat next to her on the bus back home. I haven't seen either of them since then and there's every possibility he told her. I don't know whether to be scared or excited. I think I'm both, like the last time I planned to ask someone out. Even if he doesn't tell her, I probably will soon; I feel more confident now.
Fingers crossed...
