But that's no problem, I'll catch up on the two missed episodes like... perhaps tomorrow.

One other thing i forgot to add to my first post in this thread is that i found the sex scene to be a really stupid thing to add. If they really really needed to show that those characters had a relationship then they could have done it a little less in your face.

That pretty much sums it up for me too. SG-1 and Atlantis are still my favourite shows to date, but neither of them felt finished, even after watching the movies. Now it's time for me to go to bed, then I can wake up, and focus completely on

I just watched the two first episodes. (Or should I say 2/3rd of the first episode?)
And I must say that was quite good. The drama, action and casual humour from both Atlantis and SG-1 was in here, combined with the all familiar mysticism. A good mix of new elements and old elements. All in all definitely good episodes, and I look very forward to the next ones.
Just that I don't get how an ancient ship can look so incredibly different from Atlantis, which is an ancient city. The whole technology looked significatly different in design. Perhaps they'll get to this of course. And also O'neill's role was sadly a little weak. Of course Richard Dean Anderson, Amanda Tapping and Michael Shanks were just guest stars and their roles were extremely minor (With Amanda having the biggest one) but Richard Dean Anderson just felt a little weak sadly.
Basically; GIEF MOAR NAO!
...And I got to learn their names.

Well now. That was interesting. They lost two more people, though they didn't really go into what happened after they walked through the gate to another planet; I am going to assume they were horribly maimed by the wildlife.
I liked this last part, and will definitely be tuning in for more. I want to see how Rush and Greer will get along, so far it hasn't been very well, and I am still leery about both of them (though Greer screams of loose cannon)
One thing I want to know is what was up with that shuttle that detached in the end of the episode. It probably has some significance in the next episode though, but we shall see.
Next week

Sadly I got to wait about one day longer than you filthy Americans, for me to access it on ze web.
But man. Stargate Universe is going the right direction so far. Stargate is probably the ONLY show that ever got / gets to me. And this episode was quite well done.
It's good that this episode was more about getting to know the personalities of everyone. And it did quite well in that.
Regarding those two people that went through the portal. I was thinking something along the lines of wildlife too. There has to be a reason those were locked out, and going to them was just silly. Especially since there was just one way of going back. Either they are now stranded on a planet, and will die a slowly death there. Or they are getting killed by vicious wildlife. Perhaps, just perhaps, they might make a return in a next episode - but that would mean they found some sort of intelligent life or perhaps even a way to activate the stargate.
And I must say, it was quite releaving to see everyone being releaved due to the air being filtered. Can't wait for the next one, sadly I got to wait until next Saturday.

IN THE FUTURE!
And there they would have seen the upper half of the Statue of Liberty and be shouting: "DAMN YOU!!! DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!"
And then the apes would come...
Seriously...
Oh and that shuttle is just the waste disposal unit. They took one dump too many!
