Dammit, I need to get Syfy, but hell, even though I was a huge addict, I didn't bother with it when Veronica dropped it over here... (2 episodes before the end of SG-1, and about halfway Atlantis, and hey, I didn't even watch those last SG-1 episodes online, I suppose I should, maybe I'll find some way to watch this too, and I'll try to stay up to date...)

The producers have hinted at the possibility that Destiny was inhabited before (which would go to explain why the scrubbers were used up).  Hopefully we find out more about that later.

I'd love SyFy.
I first thought SciFi would be the same, but it is just a crap-version.

But, luckily, I got different sources. Sources that make me wait one day extra. But regardless.

Not like the Ship will know they went to another planet on the planet. Would be a little bit silly. Especially with scarce resources. Now perhaps it's a group of hibernated Wraith, that is going to get a Hive Fleet in there, even though they are in a completely different Solar System, Galaxies, what not![/color]

Yes,  Darkness will be about them losing power, so they have to turn off everything sans life support.  It will be followed by Light (both used to be one episode named fire).

Sci-Fi is a crap channel all right ,  syfy is the same exact thing , but renamed.


I lost confidence in stargate after atlantis , it just gets too mainstream , cause the channel sucks has all sorts of special permissions and they(mgm) target the series only for american market, they don't realize how worldwide the franchise is.

what do you mean with targetting only the US?

Broadcasting stations here have to buy the license to broadcast the series, if they don't then there is nothing MGM can do about it.

I won't say that SG-U has hooked me yet, but I am definitely intrigued enough to tune in next week.

My mind still can't quite grasp the notion of how far into space they are. When that map lit up and showed how many galaxies away from the Milky Way they are a pit in my stomach fell. It's things like that that only Stargate, and Battlestar, can do to me in the Sci-Fi realm. I'll give it a chance, but it is no SG-1 yet. It is better than Atlantis already.

I've only seen the Comic Con trailer, haven't seen previews. I probably don't use the same methods of viewing as the rest of you.

Heh, well mine was just an obvious guess. Seeing in what kind of situations they are. But I must say, Saturdays are something to look forward too for me now. Not that I didn't like them before, but now there is something I will absolutely do.

You could also check out th Stargate wiki.  It has some info on a few episodes which was mainly taken from the producer's blog (so it's not really a secret).

Matticus88's comment on Water. Obviously, they have to meet someone at some point, but I didn't have to know when it would be.

And I've made it a habit of not reading up on an episode on wiki before I see it. I've seen some things in the past I didn't want to know beforehand.

Lets just keep certain information that could be spoilers, within spoiler tags. Hence I also do that even though the episode had already been aired. Some people, including me, will take a bit longer to see it.

Another good resource for all things Stargate is the Gateworld website. I have it bookmarked on the computers but not this phone i am posting from now and for some reason I don't think it is a .com addy. Ithink its either .net or .org, but it is well worth checking out.

Also for anyone watching it live on SyFy hop into Petro Steam Chat, a few of us have been hanging in there talking while we watch it togethor. Kinda fun Well we always have fun in there anyways
