I so thought they were just going to make it a really lame scene, after he said "We just lost Varo" and just let him there without anyone caring... But luckily they actually went to get him.

Well, an interesting way to write off those thousands of people as well. I was expecting like.. them all to die some dramatic way but I guess floating in space for hundreds of years with almost no chance of ever running into them works.

I really doubt it. Finding someone in open space like that without any clue what route they may have taken? Didn't McKay say something about how ridiculously hard it is to even try and hit something in open space without coordinates in Atlantis somewhere? Besides, they already went into FTL, they may have even passed them.

I don't think they ever tracked ships like that in the Stargate universe (Not a pun ) have they? Unlike say... Star Trek and such. Those tools may not exist in Stargate.

No but we at this moment can calculate trajectories to far off planets. if they had the coordinates of the ringworld and the coordinates of Novus, they could plot a course and since the destiny has GIANT SCANNAHS capapble of scanning an area that is about the size of a solar system, they could calculate at what part of pace they would be in and spend atleast a day or two scanning that area of space. It wouldn't be too hard.

but I like how the last episode turned out. A shame, if it was rubbish I may not have been so sad about the show ending.

Well I finally managed to catch up, and I have to say I am disappointed they didn't pick Universe up for another season.  THe show just came into its own, and the drones have become a viable big bad for a while plus they could have done quite a bit regarding the humans in that galaxy.  Instead they fling themselves into the next galaxy and three years later where nothing is going to be the same.

i wonder what they mean by in a "new format" What formats is there for them left? they've done 3 tv series and few films. maybe they are going to release music or toys or something lol

I am guessing either comics (like Walking Dead) or webisodes most likely. Direct to DVD is a dead deal, and MGM hasn't rebuilt enough to be able to afford 2 million an episode standard format televisoion.

Rumor has it that is how syfy is going to handle Blood & Chrome through webisodes, but I find it interesting they promised more info. at the upcoming comicon in SanDiego, which really leads me suspect it may be a comic format. I am not really interested in that myself tbh.
