Combine that with DX11 multi-monitor support in games and my flight sims and FPS games are going to ROCK.

Enjoy. I should mention that although Windows 7 takes a lot from Vista, the kernel for it was built nearly from scratch. It's relation to Vista is mostly visual, and let's be honest... if Vista was to be rated on visuals alone, it was pretty nice.

I'm awaiting Dx11 cards...particularly seeing how Fermi stacks up to whatever ATI releases next.

I'm confident that Fermi is going to wipe the floor with ATI's next line. Fermi info got put out and ATI had nothing to say about it... that makes me think they most likely are going to have trouble getting anywhere close to it.

Ah, very nice. It's kind of sad though that they had to imply a lot of things they don't have evidence for. Most of their stats on Fermi, like the price or the speed increase for gaming, are speculation, and the numbers for Fermi are higher, if you look into the actual press releases from nVidia. I'm not saying they are just trying to make Fermi look bad by making things up... it's entirely possible that they got that information back when it was true or something, but at the moment it is very much incorrect. Given that it was put out on the 14th of this month, I would say they knew this and released it intentionally.

That interview... it was posted a week ago. The information about Fermi was wrong at that point, making it look worse than it is... They should have posted an update regarding Fermi's stats that were released, and they didn't. I was just saying that I think that was intentional.

I typically reinstall Windows two or three times a year anyway, so I tend to stay away from "upgrade" choices and just spend a day enjoying a reinstall of Windows

I did the Student version deal for the "upgrade version". It allows for completely wiping your harddrive from any OS or upgrading from Vista (...as long as you have the same version. You can't update from Vista 32 to Win7 64). There was a major problem with the distribution, where Digital River would provide you with an installer that would create a boot folder for you instead of just giving you an ISO... which I partially blame Microsoft for. They really should have kept a closer eye on the distributors of it's new OS.
...but after that headache, I got Win7 installed and installed all my stuff and now I run it on my home theater. I took some pictures of me putting the computer together and running games on it in case you guys wanted to see my setup.

I tend to do that when I use a computer a lot... at least I did that with XP a lot. Every 6 months or so. It wasn't that there was anything wrong with the computer, either... I just have a bit of OCD about everything being super-clean on my computer. If I've installed and uninstalled anything, I feel like I need a reformat. It's a bit silly, now that I think about it...
