Hail Ice_Hole,
Welcome to the forums and good seeing more locals! Seems like most of the games listed are SoE MMO's, interesting, as I'm currently subscribed to EQ but I've played all. Also, have gone to every Fan Faire hosted here since they started.
I have played many others, but quite honestly, the SoE MMO's seem to have a more Western Style than most others. I have played other MMO's I was just trying to touch on the most memorable for myself. Played Aion, too much grind, and didn't care for flying fairy pvp. Played Lineage 2, holy grind. Played STO beta, you mean you bought a major IP and didn't bother to include any actual content?.
I also have played non MMO's. Lots of the Battlefield Series (2, 2142, BC2). MAG was a good one on the PS3 (Bought that one because I supported what the company was trying to do with the 256 player battles.) Played a lot of Age of Empires back in the day. And before that played a lot of Kings Quest, Legends of Kyrandia, and Dune. I just tend to list those games I would have actually played with other forum members in a welcome post, as opposed to single player, or smaller scale games. It doesn't give you as much to talk about, or quite the same chances of recognizing someone
Probably the game I played the longest was MajorMUD. Which I played on and off for around 10 years. I still think it is one of the best games in terms of character development and mechanics I have ever played, despite it being a text only MUD.

Welcome to the forums, Ice_Hole!...so why Ice_Hole?
The name goes back a LONG time to when I was very young. My grandfather (Who has now been dead about 12 years) used to tell us this joke. As kids, we used to begg him to tell it to us, since it was like he was getting away with something.
So Here goes:
How do you catch a Polar bear?
First, you go up to a frozen lake, a drill out a big hole in the ice.
Then lay out some peas around the hole. Once you have done that, run and hide behind a mound of ice.
Wait till the polar bear comes.
Once the polar bear starts to take a pea, you have to run up behind him and kick him in the Ice_Hole.
And there you have it, the origins of Ice_Hole. So in a way, I guess you could say the name does mean what it sounds like. But to me, it represents a certain innocence. It also reminds me of my grandfather. I have been using the name as a handle online for a number of years (Since 95 or so). The name has quite a bit of meaning to me, besides just being some made up name.
