By this I mean, completely go away from the planet so he can capture it. or let the rebel alliance near so they will want to capture it.

But weirdly she was then in orbit and I could move her around while zoomed to the galaxy map, but couldn't move her individually when zoomed into whichever system she was on.
Which was weird, especially when I had a space battle on any planet she was on, because she was then a passenger on one of my ships!
And when I made sure she was killed she was on my hero list on the main galaxy screen, the only time it's happened to me, but it made me laugh that I found a very little glitch, but it made me happier to think that a Rebel had finally betrayed the Rebellion!

I've had something similar happen, except it wasn't a hero, it was a regular unit. Once I was the Rebellion and a ZC grenadier squad was in my ground forces above a planet. Just like you, I couldn't move him individually, but if I moved the whole slot, it would follow. And now playing the ZC, I had rebel soldiers in my ground forces above a planet. Same thing again.

As for the opposition forces in your group thing, I had this happen quite often when I was playing AS the COnsortium. One of my fave things to do was go to opposition owned worlds with a stealth fleet of heros and defilers. I took 98% of all worlds that way. Anyway, I often had Tyber as one of my first guys on the planets.... and I used his 'Bribe' option... a LOT. Speeders or T4-B tanks mostly. Anyway, if I had a substantial bribed army of the AI's forces, after the battle sometimes I noticed that I had 1 or 2 actual unit tiles of those forces claiming as my forces. I didn't think that much of it, as they were with mine, but not really useable. This was.... until I moved a single group of T4-Bs to a fully built up but vacant Mandalore... and all of a sudden the planet was 'taken over' by the rebels, and my lvl 5 station and all my buildings were toast. Not a happy camper there... but I had plenty of funds so I went back, wiped out the T4's, and reclaimed things in a few minutes. Anyway.... I've seen that with bribed units, so must be a bug with the resolvement of planetary battles and units left over. Was always rebels though, never the Empire. Kept hoping I'd get a few At-Ats my way... but they never popped in. So... there's my tale of it all. lol
