In my current GC campaign I made crushing the Consortium a priority.  I have taken the last of their planets, yet Tyber Zann remains.  He is currently hanging out on Correllia.  I tried using Boba Fett on a neutralize hero mission, but when I send him there's no mission for him, tyber doesn't show up .  So there Tyber sits, all alone, on one of my worlds.  Any ideas on how to get rid of him?

Kill him?

By this I mean, completely go away from the planet so he can capture it. or let the rebel alliance near so they will want to capture it.

I've got a lot on Correllia, and I'd hate to do that, but barring any better ideas I'll certainly take it under consideration.

Sounds like a bug similar to corruption persisting after the Consortium was defeated.  You should post it in the Tech Support forum.

I thought maybe he'd taken tips from Bin Laden on how to hide out.  :p

Or he's enjoying the company of all them fine Corellian women.  :p  But yeah, definitely sounds like a bug to me, I've never come across that problem before.

Guess I'll give Kar's trick a try.  He may have been on a mission when his last planet fell, sort of sticking him in limbo.

Hey I dont believe it is a bug because Tyber Zann is a faction leader and Boba(or any bounty hunter for that matter) cant assassinate faction leaders. I think this because it used to be a victory condition that your faction leader must live and paying Boba to assassinate a leader wouldn't be balanced

A very similar thing happened to me, but I was the Consortium and I had defeated the Rebels and Mon Mothma was on the planet.

But weirdly she was then in orbit and I could move her around while zoomed to the galaxy map, but couldn't move her individually when zoomed into whichever system she was on.
Which was weird, especially when I had a space battle on any planet she was on, because she was then a passenger on one of my ships!
And when I made sure she was killed she was on my hero list on the main galaxy screen, the only time it's happened to me, but it made me laugh that I found a very little glitch, but it made me happier to think that a Rebel had finally betrayed the Rebellion!

I've had something similar happen, except it wasn't a hero, it was a regular unit. Once I was the Rebellion and a ZC grenadier squad was in my ground forces above a planet. Just like you, I couldn't move him individually, but if I moved the whole slot, it would follow. And now playing the ZC, I had rebel soldiers in my ground forces above a planet. Same thing again.

So it sounds like any forces that are off world when a side's last planet falls are kind of stuck in limbo.  I never even thought to see if he's within my own forces, I just figured he was on mission or something.  Next I play I'll check that out.

I've seen both of these occurances happen here lately. First, the Consortium hero in limbo around Corellia. I know exactly what happened there. The Cons tried putting a Black Market up on Corellia, but as soon as it went up, I took it down again with Palpatine. About 20 seconds after corruption was removed, Urai Fenn showed up, my guess to try and buy new tech from the now rubbled BM. I worried about him for a little while, but he never left, and never caused trouble. After the final Con world fell, he remained, and 3 worlds with corruption stayed under Con influence. It took awhile longer to clear those worlds since they were Rebel strongholds, but finally to get Urai outta my hair I used Boba and he was able to assasinate Urai once and for all. I thought it strange.... but if Tyber was at Corellia too... my guess is that you had something similar.. and the AI doesn't know how to pull a BM buyer out of limbo if his mission is gone before he gets there. :)

As for the opposition forces in your group thing, I had this happen quite often when I was playing AS the COnsortium. One of my fave things to do was go to opposition owned worlds with a stealth fleet of heros and defilers. I took  98% of all worlds that way. Anyway, I often had Tyber as one of my first guys on the planets.... and I used his 'Bribe' option... a LOT. Speeders or T4-B tanks mostly. Anyway, if I had a substantial bribed army of the AI's forces, after the battle sometimes I noticed that I had 1 or 2 actual unit tiles of those forces claiming as my forces. I didn't think that much of it, as they were with mine, but not really useable. This was.... until I moved a single group of T4-Bs to a fully built up but vacant Mandalore... and all of a sudden the planet was 'taken over' by the rebels, and my lvl 5 station and all my buildings were toast. Not a happy camper there... but I had plenty of funds so I went back, wiped out the T4's, and reclaimed things in a few minutes. Anyway.... I've seen that with bribed units, so must be a bug with the resolvement of planetary battles and units left over. Was always rebels though, never the Empire. Kept hoping I'd get a few At-Ats my way... but they never popped in. So... there's my tale of it all. lol

i have had this with the emperor (when i was rebels)... in regular EAW... he appeared in one of my fleets when i captured a planet... he stayed with the fleet until i went to an imperial aligned world... at which point he jumped ship...

Don't underestimate the power of a Corellian Sunrise (the drink, that is).  I hear it has kept many an almost dead anti-hero alive well beyond their time.  Keith Richards comes to mind...

there's a related bug (one that WASN'T fixed by FoC or any patches) the bug is if there's an enemy fleet over your your planet with a SS, when you fight that fleet, the SS is theirs. The Moff Kalast fight in the Empire campaign in the first game is a perfect example. I also had a Consortium fleet over Korriban, and it didn't engage my SS, it just waited there. A second bug with that is it DOESN'T block fleets (I had defeated most of the Consortium , and went to remove Corruption, and the Emperor flew from Myrkyr to Salucami via Korriban (rather than going around it), and I had to fight 2 Nebulon-B frigates and my own SS level 3 with just the Emperor's shuttle. Needless to say, I flew it into an asteroid field and retreated. Bye-bye level 3 SS...
