If there was to be expansions, what do you guys want to see? More factions? Features?

I'll start like to see the following:
Customized deck building and PvP
One turn to win puzzles

I would like to see Down Loadable Content (DLC) can be purchased in a similar fashion to games like "MtG: Duel of the Planeswalker" where new cards and guardians are added along with campaigns and skirmish maps. 4 of the 6 guardians that are in the Board Game version are in the PC game so that leaves at least 2 for Expansions/DLC

The ability to custom make skirmish maps and/or a random map generator would also be cool but being a game programmer myself I know that this is easier said then done.

For now I would like to see additions in the form of DLC in the coming weeks/months

A map editor would be very cool, however, if there is a map editor that eliminates DLC as why purchase maps when modders can make them for free... MTG: Duel of Planewalker has a very nice DLC/Micro Expansion system.

I would pay for additional maps/Guardians.  Frankly, at $10, I feel the game is underpriced.  And you can't say that about too many games these days.

I agree.. I about fell out of my chair when I saw the price and with a 10% discount to boot. Bring on more content, my Credit Card is more then willing and able.

This is a really good game. :)

From what I've seen so far in skirmish mode and if multiplayer were to be input there would have to be more "balance" in the setups on each side. I've seen games where the AI gets mana tiles out the ying yang and I get squat.

I'd want to see a random map generator first and foremost though. Or the ability to lay tiles ourselves and go in order I place one then the AI places one. If there will never be a random map generator then there must be a map editor and creator. I don't want to play on these same maps day in an day out.

Of course I'd like to see new Guardians, cards and new decks to buy later on in the near future.

TCP/IP multiplayer ability next to first and foremost. This game has great potential for multiplayer play that doesn't take a week to play out a game.

Game definitely will need a difficulty feature for those of us who become gods at this game. ;)

The only skirmish map I've been playing (haven't beaten it yet) is the one where you have to hold the tile in the center for 3 turns, and I agree it's very unbalanced (someone over at Wargamer.com is calling it "cheating", but I don't agree).  Are the other maps unbalanced as well?

Some minor issues for a patch:

-I would like to see the number of cards of the oponent and the orders left (or orders done) in the enemy creatures

I was kind of hoping that the hero's stat increases would carry over to the next scenario in the campaign.  It'd probably be overpowered (like Arthas in the WC3 Human campaign) and thus need to be balanced, but it'd add a feeling of persistence and investment in the character.

Also, multiplayer!

As for DLC... those who know me here know that I'm a complete Luddite when it comes to digital games, and I don't like paid DLC at all.  However, I agree with the posters above that the game was shockingly inexpensive.  As such I could probably bring myself to squeeze a bit more out of the credit card :)

Archon's in his Visual Studio.  All's right with the world.

Thanks for your suggestions! Our main programmer on the project just so happens to be sitting next to me, so I had him read this over. We'll try to push out content updates, and possibly a full expansion yet. Eventually we hope to expand everything to Steam and others services once we lock down the initial concerns. For now, keep the ideas coming!

I'd like to see more maps, more cards, and especially the ability to customize decks.  Longer scenarios would be cool too, most of the ones I've messed around with are like 6-7 turns which seems really short.

Great game though!  I hope extra content comes frequently, I have no problem paying for more since the game was such a bargain out of the gate.

Greetings Flexscan! Very nice gameplay video! I wish I could understand it more, but I'm glad others over there had a chance to check it out.

As for some of the things you're hoping to see in an expansion, we're working on them! I can't guarantee they'll all happen, but we'll at least get an update or two out there and some more maps.

Terrain cards expansion paks. These terrain cards could be used to alter the game before it starts. Each player can have 10% usage of terrain cards depending on the size of the origional map. These cards could be "added" to make the maps larger, used "over existing terrain" to change it into something else or be "blank" to take out existing terrain tiles altogether.
Of course no placement or takeaway of terrain can ever make the map impassable as at least some restrictions should apply with how many passages a map must have to each side.

I'd even like to see some secret passages tiles that can be summoned other than portal where players can sneak from one side of the map to the other in a turn sort of like vortex tiles in Swords & Sorcery game by SPI and there should be disadvantages for using them with popups (interior monsters or events) to have to deal with in the turn players attempt to use the passages or vortexes.

Of course a random map generator would be nice but player alterations to game maps before and during the game would be a lot of fun also. Ala Magic Realm by Avalon Hill.

Of course relic cards would be a nice addition also like in Magic the Gathering.

Wow I hope you sold a lot more games than you're getting forum posts about it. It looks dead already :(

Forum posts don't translate into likes for the game :P. We actually have a super exciting announcement coming up shortly for the game. A few of your suggestions have already made it into future content! In the meantime, we're updating news daily on the game. Keep watch :)

What cool stuff in the game have you found so far? At the moment no one has apparently finished the campaign.

What ever you do, don't go exclusive with Steam! They are a hassle to deal with & IMO are very shady with their game info. The Steam version of the Semper Fi expansion to Hearts of Iron III will only work in the original Hearts of Iron III if you bought the game from Steam. If you buy the expansion and bought the original game somewhere else, it won't work. I only found this out by chance before I bought the expansion because of some postings at different gaming sites around the net. Nowhere, at least up until last month, was this posted anywhere on the Steam site.

As for any possible expansions, a deck editor and map maker would be great & of course multi player would be a key addition.
Also, the tutorial is one small file on the cards in the game & nothing else. A further more in depth tutorial would be welcome too.
