Good-Day,

Playing the expansion I noted that Serin's Tigers utilization of the "Fast Cavalry" ability causes the game to freeze.  The animation actually completes, but still the game remains stalled.

I noticed Oshnuk's War scenario doesn't end in 10 turns like the victory conditions state but it ends in 12 turns instead. The victory condition text needs to be changed.

Please read the following list of known issues before posting about your own. These are currently being worked on and will make it in the first update to the game:

Barriers To Entry
- Clicking on 'Start Game' brings up loading screen permanently

Berek -- if I'm not mistaken, the first update has come, but this Barriers To Entry bug hasn't been addressed. Please!?  If you need help reproducing it, I'm sure a number of us on the forums would be happy to help.

Hi Dylan! Thanks for noticing this one... we didn't get it into any of the existing patches as you've mentioned, but when we have another patch produced we'll definitely consider at that point!

Hello, I've not attempted to reproduce the 'bug' yet but the bug I have found is, when a guardian uses Scout along with  Mystic Bridge and then uses guardian summoning, they can summon a unit on a broken tile without it dying. I would assume this to be a bug due to the Shifting Winds (?) card killing any unit that gets blown onto a broken tile.

Also I believe that when the enemy is using Broxin, instead of taking five mana from the player and adding five to the AI mana, it just takes five mana from the AI.

The map 'The Barren Wastelands of Brightagg also seems buggy. I have killed the enemy guardian only to have them re-spawn and I have also killed the 15 units. Even after both are killed the map continues. The unit kill counter just continues increasing 18 of 15 for example. I will try play testing this a bit more soon.

Tried to play and learn my way around the game only to have the trebuchet thingy freeze my whole session. Had my hero and an archer right at the city walls. It's one of these bugs/glitches;

Quote

Graphics & Sound
- Winning a battle and retreating walking in place forever

The thing just kept moving so much that it could of reached the moon by now :P. Neat game but that bug ruined it all lol. Oh, and I got half the right screen being slightly darker than usual; similar to EaW/FoC issues. I see old Petroglyph game coding habits being carried over into Graxia.

I've got a recurring issue where the scroll button will get 'stuck' and keep trying to go in one direction. And no it's not my keyboard key getting stuck down ;) This happens a couple of times a game normally, it goes away eventually by jiggling the mouse around with wheel key pressed down and pressing the directional buttons at the same time.

Hi otocan,

There have been a few similar reports to this. Sometimes it helps if the mouse drivers and video card drivers are updated. Can you check to see if this is the case please?

Thanks!

Hi, sorry for this being an almost identical post to on the Steam forums, but I thought. I'd try here too. I can't get this game to start up - I click Play from the Steam menu, the hourglass appears, I wait 20 seconds, then Windows tells me the program has crashed. I've tried verifying the cache, rebooting, deleting and redownloading, and Windows compatibility mode, but it always does the same thing. Any ideas?

System specs:
Win7 x64
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 2.66GHz
4GB RAM
Nvidia Geforce GTX 260

All drivers are the most recent.

Here's a link to the Steam thread, which has others in the same situation:
http://forums.steamp...d.php?t=1964015

Thanks!

No problem! We don't want to miss your posts, so this is ok if it's urgent :). Quick question, do you have all the drivers updated, especially the graphics card?

Yep, all drivers were updated today. Thanks for replying - hope this can be resolved. It looks like a great game!

I just went through a similar nightmare with the game Dwarfs?!?, which do the same crash every time I ran it. I tried all of the following (for both games):

- uninstalling and reinstalling more than twice
- defragging and checking HD where games were installed
- verifying file integrity
- updating graphics drivers
- updating my OS, even minor patches (in this case Win XP SP3, though Guardians also does not run on my Win 7 machine)
- rebooting the machine and steam a few times

Finally, I was reading a blog on the Dwarfs?!? page, and I found out that the game was made with XNA. Is Guardians made with C#/XNA?

If so, then these pages might be relevant:
http://forums.create...ms/t/10676.aspx
http://forums.create.../9924.aspx#9924

In the case of Dwarfs?!?, I just made a random guess and installed the 3.1 XNA redistributable, and the game instantly worked (I had made NO other changes before testing). Is it possible that Guardians is just not installing XNA or C# dependencies properly?

Could you list all of the redistributables Guardians might depend on, so that we can manually check that they are all installed?

I am having a similar problem.  The game doesn't even come up on my screen.  The process starts and immediately dies, I don't even get an error messages from Windows when it fails.  I managed to get the error message from the Win7 Event Viewer though.

The error message is:

Faulting application name: GuardiansOfGraxia.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4dfa80ac
Faulting module name: GuardiansOfGraxia.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4dfa80ac
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x00371f7d
Faulting process id: 0x1aec
Faulting application start time: 0x01cc3ac747e63061
Faulting application path: c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\guardians of graxia\GuardiansOfGraxia.exe
Faulting module path: c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\guardians of graxia\GuardiansOfGraxia.exe
Report Id: 87f973aa-a6ba-11e0-a750-000272d4e01c

From a brief google search, the error code 0xc0000005 means an access violation, so something in the program tries to access something else it does not have permissions to.  I've tried running as an administrator and that does not fix it.

My system specs are:

Windows 7
3.4 MHz 6-core hyperthreaded i7
GTX580
12 GB RAM

I'm having trouble with my mouse in the game, the mouse icon will not respond to my movements of the mouse, but i can get the game to start by moving my mouse around until the button i want lights up (though no other visible signs of where the pointer is). I've obviously not been able to play the game as it takes me minutes to be able to press any button and then its a crapshoot to whether I can find it.
