I for one hope they can explain the randomness of the normandy crashing onto a random planet. In fact during the beginning of that scene I didn't get the whole normandy fleeing from the red/green/blue crap either. Since when did the Normandy go through the Charon Relay?

oh and i got the black widow in a premium spectre pack
Spoiler

It sucks that the other thing was character card though... my previous premium spectre pack had TWO gold character cards ugh...

That's the only gripe I have with the ending as well, everything surrounding the Normandy. The rest I'm fine with.

And that blows. :(

tbh I hated the crucible as a plot device, how it can turn the tide with a button push. It's a cheap way to suddenly wipe out everything like some doomsday device, which incidentally we've seen in other stuff like the Halo Rings, or even Crysis 2, the way Alcatraz could just wipe out the alien threat like that.

One alternate way I would've liked the Reapers to be beaten would be the Geth. Being Synthetics, the Geth can wage war much better than the organic races. They'd be able to mass produce soldiers by the hundreds, and their fleet size is likely to be enough to go toe to toe with any reaper force on any planet, especially if the Geth have WMDs too.

But that would still mean there's no magical iwin button. The Geth would have to fight alongside the rest of the combined fleet, pushing the Reapers back the hard way. No enemy archilles heel, no ancient giant ball-shaped superweapon, etc.

The only problem with that of course would be that Shepard wouldn't be able to save the day, because there is no magic win button for him to push, etc. And it's the same with a lot of the other games out there isn't it?

Mostly the same here, though the sheer stupidity of the Synthesis ending makes me rage harder and harder every time I think about it.  Frankly, when I saw the ending for myself, part of me just *snapped* inside.  At that moment, I realized that almost every trilogy I've been into recently (LoTR doesn't count because I read it almost 10 years ago) has screwed up the ending.  The Fourth Realm books, His Dark Materials... about the only one that didn't screw it up was the Hunger Games.

I disliked the concept of the Crucible, but the way Bioware's writing had been going, I honestly did expect the series to end with a "kill all Reapers" button.

Anyhow, the Resurgence Pack: Glad to see that someone on the business side realized that the fanbase was melting like ice cream in Arizona.  I'm pleasantly surprised to see this released for free, considering the nickel-and-diming of Mass Effect 2's weapon DLCs.  This'll get me back into multiplayer, that's for sure.

I don't care much for the Synthesis ending either. Of the three choices, that one could have used some extra explanation from the start. But as it is, I just avoid taking that path whenever I complete the game. The two other choices work fine for me depending on what mood my Shepard is in.

Synthesis Asari, Destroy Geth, or Control Batarian. Well then.

I'm still hoping we get a multiplayer map one day in a place with some decent greenery like the Eden prime map in Javik's mission. I swear there is no grass/foliage in any of the multiplayer environments.

Either they want to piss the retardfans off with the colours.. or they just want to piss them off :P

Also, I noticed that during the whole trailer the colours tend to swith around!

The adventures of Decoy Roadblock

Stalling an Atlas in its tracks
Spoiler

Tried to block a phantom
Spoiler

Also managed to win my first Gold match. Geth on Firebase white. Was a Salarian Engineer working with human sentinel, human engi and Salarian infiltrator.

Gold is truly insane. The enemies kill you so fast it's like pointless to even spec things like Fitness. I pretty much just did a lot of decoy-spamming and mattock-sniping.

One thing  that Gold really emphasises however is sticking as a group, since your friend can rez you while others lay cover fire. I also find that Overload as a crowd control is very useful (the human engi in my team used a ton of it), not to mention it helps to chain-attack shields on centurions/pyros/marauders/hunters

...still wish the Justicar wasn't wearing a reskinned human N7 armour.

Something tells me the Asari Commando may be a future Soldier class build.

So who has gotten Resurgence yet?

I've just downloaded it. Firebase Hydra's LZ position is pretty good for sniping.

Now to start buying all the premium spectre packs and unlock all the stuff
