So... anyone tried the new Resurgence DLC?
^ I did a 4-Vorcha game earlier and it was phenomenal. Flamers everywhere. Bloodlust is an insane ability with the regenerating health. Vorchas literally tank better than Krogan here. With bloodlust, they get health regen and increased mobility to run from fire.
The new weapons are also pretty controversial with a lot of people calling for a nerf on the new turian sniper rifle that apparently shoots Carnage blasts from the looks of it.

You know how sometimes in MP you see the muzzle flash glitch on another player where their gun keeps showing the muzzle flash fx?
It looks hilarious when that glitch takes place on the new Shotgun.

Watch the vid. Is it just me or does it sound like they're adding a losing scenario to the ending?

I watched the extended cut's control ending. Not much really. It really is more scenes based on the same endings. Some of the scenes are even just static images (think, like the slideshow cutscenes in World In Conflict)
tbh I'm more concerned about the infiltrator super nerf in MP right now. I tried infiltratin in a match earlier and definitely felt the power reduction in sniper damage.

Just got the DLC and went to orientate myself around the new maps(read: solo bronze reapers and just leave 1 cannibal alive on wave 1 while i try to find where all the ammo boxes are)
So my rough first thoughts...
Firebase Jesus-Statue: This is probably my favourite map appearance-wise cos i like the scenery. I'm a huge sucker for maps with nice scenery in the BG and open-air spaces to appreciate the scenery, like Firebase Jade.
Firebase Coruscant: IMO a kinda dull portrayal of vancouver (and YES it gave me a strong coruscant vibe). The sheer amount of grey in the environment reminds me of the Purgatory mission in ME2. Drawing a rough parallel with the Rooftops map in Crysis 2 which also takes place on the top of a building in a city, i felt that Vancouver could have taken a leaf out of Rooftops's book. What i find interesting however is the verticality in this map.
Firebase Brit: The map is centered around an intersection so it feels roughly like a cross-shaped layout, not sure how that's gonna affect running from place to place, i have this feeling I'll be sticking to the pegway area a lot due to the vantage point. Oh yeah if you look to the sky you can see a hideously low-res decal of the Moon...
