Hi!

I have a problem with universe at war... when I try to start the game, after 10 sec. the screen goes black, and i cant hear nothing and see nothing, one option what i can do is ... ctrl + alt + del... what should i do to make it work?

I install patch 3, for UaW, and nothing new happend, and i have the newest video drivers for my graphic card.

Did you install patch 3 through live or did you do it separately?

I downloaded it from net.

i find thease, and it was on "0"... so ... any ideas?

i downloaded Demo wersion and it wont work too.

How old is your Graphics card?, and how much free memory do u have, that also might be the cause.

I have GeForce FX 5200, but i tryed to start it, mayby 2 years ago, with demo wersion, and it starts like all other games. I Attach DxDiag file.

Your specs are ok unless if i missed something i would recommend you get a new Graphics card. The card that you have is 8 years old, the games that are coming out/and are out are more demanding in performance even if you do happen to run the game your Frames Per Second would suffer in multi-player games. Your other option is of course to put away the game and play some other game which doesnt have such difficulties. Sorry if i couldnt be much help to you.

I would if i were you or atleast upgrade it a bit, the real question is how much you willing to spend if money is no object than get a new pc and it will last you for good 2-3 years if you look after it. If money is tight than i would just get a decent Graphics card which will play most games that are out.

UAW for me is a very special game which not many games can compare, you might even say it has a X factor. Its just really sad that it never fully got finished or better it wasn't fully polished.
There are games such as
Dawn of war 2
Starcraft 2
Sins of Solar Empire
Total War
All of these games are great in their own way. These are just a few I like and i could easly give you lot more. Its realy up to you. Go on you tube and mess around until you find a game that you will like.
