...featuring locations like G3rmany, Am3rica, and 3ast3r Island

It's funny really, the trailer seemed to be trying to cram as many action-flick-cliché locales as possible. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a gunfight inside the friggin statue of liberty.

And they got the "M" upside down at the end.

I already saw this when it came out. Yeah, this outright stinks in comparison to BF3.

Wait...Th3 P3opl3's R3public of Mac3donia isn't a location in the game? :<

But srsly, this is only one tenth of the game!

(Seriously, the game itself is only 13 minutes long)

13 minutes? That's like 120 seconds for each world-famous location of this globe-trotting shootyfest

Maybe they'll prolong the gameplay experience with more slow mo shooting sequences.

Inc3ption, much?

Though really, the trailer really really seems to want to be an Inception-stile trailer, with the foghorn though differently.

That's right, an Inception game is under development last time I checked. Inception has an incredible soundtrack, Hans Zimmer did a terrific job doing the soundtrack for it. As for Modern Warfare 3, disappointed with visuals but still looking forward to it.

Looks like Infinity Ward made a gameplay trailer and combined it with this:

Somehow can not open that link with either firefux or Internet Exploler

Is it the Inception foghorn music? We kinda figured that out already :P

Piggeh it's a flash page with a button that plays the foghorn. Are your flash settings ok? That might have something to do with why you cant view it.

Activision Announces Website Hub - COD Elite:

http://www.1up.com/n...ription-service

Basically, what Bungie has been doing for 7 years, and what other gaming companies have been doing for a lesser number - A free website that collects all of your stats, saved films, pictures, match information, heatmaps, etc. Possibly something interesting related to clan organisation, but that's speculation. There will also be regularly-held contests to boost your e-peen and earn real-life rewards (e.g: IPad), and optional unspecified premium services as well.

Not very impressed personally, but this is just fluff. What we're waiting for is gameplay innovation. To quote a guy on the page:

"Yeah, this is cool and all, but Bungie has been doing this stuff since Halo 2, so it's not like it's "revolutionary" or anything. The fact that it's taken a series the size of CoD this long to mimic Halo"s community and stat tracking should be the real story here."

Furthermore, isn't this a paid service? Which seems... really silly to me. They'll sell it, I'm sure. There's enough sheep in the cattle. Kind of ironic though, isn't it? Playing Call of Duty is c00l and thus paying for the game to see statistics, databases and spreadsheets is not nerdy at all. But paying for say... an MMO, now then you're a nerd.

It isn't for the most part, at least by what it indicates. I am expecting something like Bungie.net where people can visit the website and check their stats and achievements and view recently played films without charge, but payment being required for a larger storage space and for directly rendering large films onto computers. Additional payments for anything less than what Bungie offers would be outrageous.
