Modding Forces of Corruption

Hi, I'm new to modding and I was wondering:

How can I change the colors that represent the different factions throughout the game...either in Galactic Conquest, or the Zann campaign?

Also, is it possible to add random events to Galactic Conquest, or the Zann campaign, like in the original Empire at War campaigns?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanx.
