That's what I mean, all these modern games, you have to be registered to an online service and accept all of their updates - no matter how colossal they are, or how irrelevant. And you can't simply cancel the update and just play the damn game. A small handful of my games are rendered unplayable cos Steam wants to download a 4GB patch for Counter-Strike Source. Why it's 4GBs, I have no frigging idea. But I won't find out for another six months when I stop being annoyed with it!

Because at the moment even if there's only a tiny change in one of the game files, Steam has to redownload the entire file.  So if the change is in a 4GB file, that's what Steam has to redownload.

I had this very much with command and conquer 3.
In the end the entire campaign got ****** up because you couldn't do certain stuff, or just not be able to get a big army fast enough to coutner the AI which already spawned with an army. I reinstalled it and never let it redownload the patches ever again, which was thankfully still an option.

Quite a touchy subject you got there, to break down into detail of why it's such a clusterfuck thing would spawn a series of novels full of adventures and sex. And pirates!

One of the big things that annoys me about religion is the breakaway extremists that usually start appearing. Every kind of following has extremists that take things too far, but I'm sure everyone has experienced the ugly side of religion at one point. Like being yelled at by an angry mob of Christian extremists, saying you're going to burn in hell forever, and all you wanna do is shop. True story bro.

About religion....A lady in her 20's once gave me this creepy stare, right in my face too, when in a Cathedral in Vienna....Still wondering wtf that was about, was that creepy. I guess it grinds my gears a bit because it was that insanely creepy. Weird stare.

I wanted to visit the Last of us website, to see how it looks.

So I had to choose DoB. I chose as my birthyear 1988.

Somehow it knows I am liying and am actualyl from 1990, but still I am not eligible to wacht the contents on that website.


So what grinds my gears are age-checkers. Something totally retarded that shouldn't be on the internet, since kids know not to tell their real age, and get past it 99 percent of the time. the 1 percent they don't it's because the age-checker doens't work properly and you have to be aged a 100 to enter the website.

This one grinds my gears every damn year, month, week, and day.....When I want to get something done and someone agrees to help me they simply vanish making me wait for an eternity. Whether its something simple or something more complex people still agree to help me out then they f*** off. Even something that would help them out *sighs*....

Off-leash dogs that aren't trained well enough to not freak out when anyone passes by.  

Seriously.  Every other time I go for a walk in my neighborhood, there's an off-leash dog somewhere along my route, often without supervision.  Every time I pass, they start barking, dash up, and start jumping all over me, barking in a threatening manner.  I'm glad I haven't been bitten yet.  

As a dog owner, I can say this: leash your dogs when they're outside, ESPECIALLY when you aren't there with them.  They are NOT as well-trained as you think they are.

One thing that really grinds my gears, is the fact that you are not allowed to be have anti-immigration ideas or be critical towards immigration in the nation of Sweden nowadays. If you say that you're against immigration or that you want less of it, you're immidiately flagged as a racist, a xenophobe and a nazi by all kinds of politically correct assholes such as leftist scum, non-nationalist politicians, the immigrants themselves and all other kinds of trash.

You are absolutely NOT allowed to be a nationalist in this country or have nationalist ideas. Hell, if the establishment could get away with killing you for it, they probably would. The media constantly badmouths nationalists and ethnic swedes.

There is a hysteria that EVERY single godd*mn f*cking thing that can be considered "offensive" to black or other non-white people in this country MUST be banned. Recently, some feminist bitch started a campaign to ban the word "indian" because THAT could be considered racist. She probably wants people to use the word "native american" instead. Another older example is an ice cream called "88" that they wanted to ban because it could offend people with the fact that the letter "H" is the 8th letter in the alphabet, and "88" could allude to "Heil Hitler". This pure idiocy drives me crazy!

When a colored person commits a crime, the media refuses the to show their names and pictures in the newspapers and such, BUT, if a swede commits the same crime, he or she is immediately thrown to the wolves for everyone to see.

There SOOO much sh*t going in this country on this issue that you wouldn't believe. I can't be arsed to list all of it in this post since there's so much of it. I'll have to get back on this later.
