I wish people would just stop with this "Omigod! teh w0rld is going to end in 2012!!!1111" bullsh*t.
The closer we get to that date, the more convinced I get that nothing's gonna happen.
But even in the far fetched notion that the world does end at that point, I wont perish, I shall carry on and live.

The fun part is afterwards when it's clear that the world didn't come to an end and all these thugs do get to face the consequences of their actions

I doubt people will act like it's the end without any obvious signs.

It brings up a good point about the Mayan calender. The world ending on 2012 is really just a loose interpretation of it. Scholars disagree as to what it means and even when the "end" is supposed to happen. I also thought it was funny that it said:

A worthy point I believe.

That was a good read.

Indeed.
The problem with these doomsday predictions is that when they are proven wrong people just find a new date on which the world willl supposedly end. It's a never ending cycle of doom and gloom.
After december 21th 2012 turns out to be false, the next ultimate doomsday date will be june 6th 2066 when the Antichrist will come, and after that it will be august 8th 2088 when Adolf Hitler will be resurrected and so on.

I am especially interested in hearing Cheese's thoughts about this.

I don't buy it that this is real. I can let my dog bark and it isn't that weird for rabbits standing up. Not really that scary.
I think this is the same as crop circles. It's fake, and just a couple of people trying to let the masses believe ^@!$ is going down, when all they do is use the same sound over and over again. Some people are better equiped and morph the sounds a little to let others believe it's not the exact same sound.
Which you see in the first clip, he closes the window, sound becomes muffled.
given, in some of the clips it's a totally different sound, but none the less, man-made IMHO.
Best reason for fakeness: If in densely populated zones you hear that crap, you'd go outside. Your neighbours would go outside. The whole $@$!*(( town would go outside and record it, talk about it on the internet, and call the news about it.
None of that has ever happened in recordings that clearly are about towns.
It's just fake.
