We, the people that bitch about his continuous editting, are the reason he never wants to make a star wars ever again! I hope he will never edit them either!
It's illogical to say that a Mac is better than a PC, because a Mac itself is a PC.

Well to be honest, i don't think Star Wars 7-9 have ever been on the cards.  If they were LucasFilm wouldn't have allowed the Expanded Universe to develop so freely in all the books/comics/games.  But anyway, and more importantly, does this mean he's not going to tinker with the existing films one last time as he converts them for 3D release? (TPM in cinemas this February)  And does it affect other stuff, like the long rumoured Star Wars live action TV show?

EDIT: I hope they do make at least one last Indiana Jones film!

If they do make another indy, it should be without Lucas. Just speilburgz...

Hmm, two years back there was a rumor of a new SW flick being made that took place in a time period 'other than the 6 movies'. Was kind of looking forward to that..

awww... Poor George. I don't think anyone should ever bow in to criticism from their fans. If Lucas wants to make more Star Wars movies or edits to current movies, let him, it is his ^@!$ after all. We don't have to like it. This is sort of like the Metallica and Lou Reed thing "lu-lu". Though it sucked I think that at least it's commendable that they went ahead and did what they liked even though the fans despised the whole thing from its very inception.

Besides, Star Wars is so ridiculous now that additional silliness couldn't hurt at all.
