COH2, AND it's on the Eastern Front which means Soviets!
Exactly what I wanted in COH2. Japan would probably be asking too much, even in terms of incorporating their probably too naval-centric military style into a land-based RTS.
Wonder does this mean a vanilla COH2 of just Germany v USSR? Might find some way of shoe-horning the US into it for marketability reasons.
Really hope they let us do damned mirror matches though, that was a strange limitation. Really you can't have something like that if you want to be taken seriously as a competitive RTS or an E-Sport. It complicates battles between people who like the same side and 2 matches where they alternate sides is potentially a bit iffy in that case if their expertise is really with the same faction.
Hoping they don't screw it up like they, IMO, somewhat did with DOWII which was a good game but I think suffered from the absurdly fast pace and lack of significant bases.
EDIT: Aw... no way, can I not edit the title? I left out the letter d .
