I'm aware this forum is dead, and that I placed a tombstone on it, but I'll make a post about Pokemon to liven things up all so slightly. Why not? Best to keep the kid in us alive instead of turning into zombies. I'm also dangerously addicted to Pokemon White again so keep your distance as much as you can. I'm not even joking here.......

If any of you dropped Pokemon because it got boring, well....get ready to get addicted! Poke BW2 has been revamped and upgraded as much as possible. Check out the feature section below for more!

- Features:

- Unova has expanded and changed within the past 2 years.
- Gyms now have their own theme; Homika (Roxie) & Elesa have vocals in their theme.
- Join Avenue - Players can connect via Wi-fi and add NPCs in a fancy indoor shopping avenue to obtain rarer items along. More wi-fi exchanges the better the NPCs and more items being sold enmass.
- Black City and White forest have been revamped along with added challenges.
- Unova Link - Allows players to recall past events and have their past gameplay from BW echo into BW2.
- Hidden Hollows - Pokemon and items hide in forest instances at random like legendaries; Regenerates at random with different pokemon/item.
- Pokemon once again roam around the land in sprite-form (i.e Sudowoodo or Snorlax style yet animated). Gamefreak trying to make this game Pokemon-sprite heavy.
- World Tournament - You can battle Gym leaders and elite trainers from past games here.
- Gift Pokemon from trainers at an all-time high.
- Shiny Stone now increases encounter rate for Shinies.
- Medals can now be earned and placed on trainer cards.
- Pokemon caught from Poke-Radar may be brought into BW2.
- Basic mini-games to play with friends; catch and expand balloons.
- You can re-tame released Pokemon from certain trainer(s).
- PokeWood - You can make movies with your Pokemon and watch them!
- Pokemon from the past can trigger events in these games - i.e Victiny @ Liberty Isle.

& A hell of a lot more. Like a whole new game!

Well, that sure is one hell of an improvement when compared to all the past Pokemon Games I played. Which ones?

- Blue, Red, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, and White.
- Pokemon Stadium, Stadium 2, Trading Card Game, and Rumble.

Tried to emulate-play Ruby but got deleted by friend when scanned as a trojan

Damn. I've still not played Black and White yet!   And why did they go for a direct sequel? That's like the first time, ever!

EDIT: Thinking about it, i don't think i ever finished SoulSilver either..

EDIT2: Yeah, gone back to SoulSilver and i'm just up to the 6th Gym Leader. And thinking about it, i think i may have played Black/White on emulation for a bit too.

Haven't? Well, take your time on these things. And ya, direct sequel. You start off on the south-west of the map instead of the south-east. The map is mostly the same, but with 2 years worth of change and you can catch older-gen Pokemon. I would of considered this a re-hash, but it doesn't look to be such with the whole pile of new features added to the game when compared to past-gens.

I normally lose interest and drop games whenever they get very repetitive or insanely boring. BW2 appears to be a "whole new game", yet a sequel.

You're also making me miss the age of Gold, Silver, & Crystal when you could re-visit Kanto. I want to revisit those areas to gain more gym badges all in one single game damn it!

They're still making these things? I clocked out at Gold & Silver. My favorite was yellow version, since you got all 3 starters, and Charizard could learn fly. Those were fun times. I remember hearing somewhere that they're doing a yellow re-make. True? False?

Still making them, yup. Yellow remake? Where the hell did you hear that? I wouldn't be surprised if they did make that a few months or a few years later. Pokemon Conquest recently released, as did this BW2 game in Japan. You clocked out in the same area I did, if slightly bit back.

The worldwide craze died around GenII/III circa 2000/01, but it's still going pretty strong in Japan.

It was something I saw on facebook, though after a quick googling I think it's a hoax or at best a wild rumor.


As I recall the whole craze was at it's peak '99-'00. I was like 10 years old and it was the coolest shiz evah.

*nods* I Googled it when you mentioned it only to find it being people speculating or being hopeful.

Ya, something around there along with the lemming-like Dragonball Z following (if you hated DBZ you were bullied and hated; I hated it) & the time I partly got into Anime through Gundam Wing....People bringing Pokemon everywhere and stabbing each other for Pokemon cards....fun times from 3rd to 6th grade. A bit into my 7th...

Black and White 2 releases in North America on the 7th and the 12th for Europe. Loads of goodies coming in the fall I see.
