Ikoku Anime is nice, Steins;Gate getting far more awesome with each episode, and Fate/Zero teasing with another trailer.

Also catching up with Gunslinger girls, on second season now. Both are awesome :). Touhou also had a 15 minute movie  *wonders off again*

-> Touhou movie - English subs. I'm sure this is legit to be posted on here as it's fan-made. On the flip-side, expect it to me removed.

I find their lack of voice acting disturbing..

So..I decided to see if the parts that came with the Adam Jensen figurine which was included with the Deus Ex HR Collector's Edition fit on Yui.

They did.

She's armed and dangerous! Detain her before she wrecks havoc!

---------

On another note, finished "Gunslinger Girls" (Season 1, 2, and OVA) and found it awesome. Sure, it might be a bit out there with kid girls turned assassins, but it's awesome. Spotted a few Ferrari's along the way ^_^.

And Ikoku anime turning out nicely. Kon!

I'm sure I can share this as it's on the official Youtube channel.

Well thanks to an Australian, I''m finally getting back into watching anime. Madness.
I was directed to Angel Beats. A very interesting one. What should I watch next after I'm done with that one though I wonder.

Evangelion 3.0: Quickening gave a heads-up that it's still a live with a teaser.

Not out until late next year, but I don't mind. Long as it's as good as, or better than, the last two, I'll be satisfied.

Kinda hoping that Asuka's eye isn't totally wrecked though. I preferred the non-pirate look.

I always wondered why those arm blades look like the aluminium ruler I bring to math class >_>

@quickening trailer

Frankly I'm losing my interest in the new evangelion stuff. It's still neck deep in all these weird profundities, and yeah you can only listen to Shinji whine for so long before it starts to grate on your nerves.

I'd say the profundities are what drew my greater interest into the show in the first place, minus all the bio-mechanical constructs and Angels. That being said, a lot of it has been stripped away to make it more accessible if you ask me. There isn't an awful lot of philosophical or psychoanalytical observations from the first two films, and certainly no real dialogue-heavy moments equivalent to the original (e.g: contact with Leliel, Rei's introjection).

As for Shinij, he's a character that I can stand. I'm aware 99.9% of the show's audience hates him, but I happen to be part of that 0.1% who thinks that, being a kid who's gone through a pile of trauma and funnelled into a duty with world-ending consequences, his attitude is not beyond reason. I think it partly works in his favour, considering how many thousands of forgettable, energetic-young-boy characters are spread across a myriad of shounen derivatives. The changes they made to the fight with Zeruel were interesting though, with the whole I'm-goin-after-Rei thing.

The first episode of Fate/Zero convinced me to watch the anime.  Never really been interested in Nasuverse stuff beforehand, but this has atmosphere.  Time to let Gen Urobuchi mind**** me a second time.

Simulcast episodes are available for a week after they air.  If you have time to spare, then you have no excuse.  Well, maybe you might want to view the first episode in two sittings, since it's a double-length special.  Also, Fate/Zero will have gratuitous spoilers for Fate/Stay Night, if you're worried about that.

Linky to the page:

To turn off all the scrolling comments, press the button that looks like a speech bubble.

If you have a nicovideo account (and I think there *are* English ways to get that now; I made mine back when it was still Japanese-only), you can get fullscreen and stuff.

Meanwhile, my girlfriend and my brother have made a viewership trade: he watches Panty & Stocking, she'll watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.  Let's see how this turns out.  (Haven't watched P&S myself, but I'm familiar with its style from frequenting GameFAQs' Other Titles board.)

I see you beat me to it Chess. Well, second episode is out now and I'm damn well enjoying this as much as I did Fate/Stay Night. I love this the Fate universe with Saber and Kitsu Caster :P. Such awesomeness! And we got a map reading nut of a hero - Rider class. Caster class, sadistic as ever.

I'd love to ramble about Fate/Zero but the fav parts are spoilers. You need to see it.....It won't disappoint, even to those that don't watch Anime.

.....And because Chess beat me I'll mention that Shana III Final is out with an interesting twist.

*Looks up Panty & Stocking on Wikipedia*

<_<

I must be too old. I thought Grenadier was silly for having a heroine who reloads her revolver out of her breast cleavage, but this just takes the cake.

Last Exile Sequel Yaaaay~

I cannot believe this. It's like a sequel to one of my favourite animes from 6 years ago (well Last Exile was in 2003 but I only watched it in around 2005)

Posted Image
I hope to god the main cast is more than just them loli-looking pilots though (she's actually supposed to be like, 15 so maybe it's just this pic).

Downloading Ep 1, will watch on Saturday

Lots of great anime and basically going to copy what Valdez said about Last Exile.

Loved the pirate ship battle vs the whole fleet haha! Ships firing at one another due to Fam's crazyness. Love it! The first episode loved to innocentally tease perverted minds a lot with stripping and half-nudes. And crazy Dio with his crazy stunts.

Not spoilers ^, just vaguely mentioning what's in it :P.

Then we got Shana 3 which is taking a weird route. Wonder how that'll end up.....and then there is the weird Mirai Nikki.....Not sure how to approach that one.

(I won't let you)

Lot of awesome Anime this season :). I think Haasth could find something suitable for his Anime-hating tastes because it's that awesome. If not then it can't be helped.

If you don't try then of course. Shove one that isn't ecchi into his face. :P

And wanted to edit but you posted.....Wanted to say that both Fate/Zero and Last Exile: Fam, The Silverwing was well worth the wait.

Saw the first episode of Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere in anime club.

I've often said that good entertainment takes tropes and cooks it all together into a well-flavored, while bad entertainment sprinkles them together like salad, so that all the individual archetypes hit you in the face with all the subtlety of a supersonic cannonball to the face.

...well, this is really, really salad.  I have no idea why some people on the anime board I frequent actually LIKED this.  Then again, Negima started out pretty salady, and since then it's become ridiculously awesome.

But Negima didn't THOSE LOPSIDED SMILES THAT REMIND ME OF GUNDOH MUSASHI ARGH.

In other news, Shana III is great, and Persona 4 is worth watching, especially if you've played the game.

Ok typing this at 3 in the morning while in school doing an overnight project.

Decided to go watch Last Exile: Fam Ep 1 during a break.

As much as I like cute girls I'm not too fond of how much more moe it is compared to the original. The "cute" factor is at a level above my preferred level for this show.
