Anyone here watching Gundam AGE? unlike its previous series the first few episodes start about a young child losing his mother and how he someehow a genius kid and builds the gundam, and flys in it.
There are so far three generations in the story it has some rather interesting twists to it despite even though the anime does look like it has been made for kids.
Its still not that bad.

The anime is ending in a couple weeks so you should go find it and watch it because you can mostly marathon it now (unless you tried and didn't enjoy it).

Watch Fate/Zero, Mouretsu Pirates, & Jormungand. I'm pretty sure you guys will laugh your rear-ends off with Jormungand, seeing as it is similar to Lord of War movie using the same Antonov 12 cargo plane. If not then you guys truly are inferior beings who can't enjoy the little things in life
Jormungand hasn't failed me yet.

One of my favorite fights in an anime. That intensity.
Just one episode left.
---
Incidentally, I've been reading the Fate/Stay Night visual novel. Fate route reaffirms what my girlfriend said from her experience watching the anime: Shirou is an idiot, and most of the problems that occur result from his stupidity or Saber's reactions to it. Additionally, the battles seem disconnected from the narrative, and I can't imagine how the final battle makes any narrative sense if the reader didn't see or read Fate/Zero first (and Fate/Zero came out later anyways). Without that context, it seemed like plot twists for the sake of plot twists.
Can't say I liked the Fate route much, if at all. Too many fights ended with Deus Ex Machina-type endings for my tastes, and Shirou's idiocy should have gotten him killed many times over throughout.
I'll just think of the Fate route as being Kiritsugu's vindication. Without going into spoilers, I feel that the Fate route's successes came about more thanks to Kiritsugu's actions in Fate/Zero than Shirou and Saber's mistakes in the present.
I've started the Unlimited Blade Works route now. Shirou's actually not being a moron this time! This is promising.

I actually quite liked Fate/Stay Night due to it being unique from everything else on TV. Not the best, nor is it the worst. Just one of those nice semi-polished gems that needs more care.
Unlimited Blade Works movie was awesome. I was quite pleased with it while being disappointed with those pretending to be special or intelligent about the whole thing. I just took it as it was and enjoyed it for what it tried to be.

Jormungand - Still highly recommended for those wanting to watch something serious with some dark humor. I consider it on-par with Fate/Zero. If you guys are going to shrug it off then it is your loss. Seeing Koko's team waver with lost members is quite interesting. One more episode to go, hoping it'll have a second season similar to what Rinne no Lagrange pulled.

I might watch Jormungand next, since it doesn't sound like there are many new Summer series that I'd be interested in.

Starts off Clampy (Studio) and then transitions into a more brutal gory Anime that you'd expect of such a show. Just like your typical plot it starts off slow and gets into the awesome bits at the end....You could probably say this Saya is more pathetic than Emiya but hey, I can't really blame Saya with what happened. You'll know if you watched it.
And with that, the movie - Blood C The Last Dark - which continues off from where Blood C TV ended is actually quite awesome. Well, at least from what I'm getting from the 8 minute trailer and the 30 second promotional videos.
I just need to get the first movie and the current one then I'll be more or less up to speed with the Blood Vampire universe.

Mainly:
- Rinne no Lagrange Season 2
- Dog Days 2
- Busou Shinki TV (If you seen "Angelic Layer" you'll know its about 15 cm tall battle robots with full on AI and weaponry attacking one another. Or watch "Busou Shinki Moon Angel" to get the basic jist of it.)
- Cold Geass Gaiden
- Blood-C: The Last Dark (Movie)
- The Wolf Children of Ame and Yuki (Movie)
---------
What caught my interest:
- Muv-Luv
- Sword Art Online
- Hagure Yuusha no Estetica (Maybe)
- Oda Nobuna no Yabou (Maybe)
- Robotic;Notes
-
Summer doesn't look too bad but I did notice I had to back-track to past Animes. Basically playing catch-up while waiting for new episode to come out.

@Mizu: I've seen about 4 episodes of Blood-C in anime club. Didn't really catch my interest, sadly.

I don't blame you as I did put it on hold/left it up in the air after the first episode or so. I went back to it and found it awesome when you get near and to the end. Its one of those you have to force yourself to watch up until uh....what was it? Episode 5? 7? Then you'd want to watch it as any other anime.

Go watch the first if you haven't already! If you say the character designs suck then you're as hard-headed as that news caster in Space Brothers ep 13, if you watch that as well

Need to pick up the second season while I'm hyped hmm. Guess I'll buy the DVD since I did enjoy it that much heh..
Picked up Moonlight Mile again because of "Space Brothers" if you guys haven't watch that. If you haven't then do so now or you'll be disappointed for the time spent ignoring my recommendations with Jormungand & etc.
Your loss, not mine

- Campione! - Main character seems like a fun one willing to try new things out. Clueless, yet not helpless. Erica's various outfits are interesting. I want to see the main character actually mess around with the gods, like he did at the end of the first episode. The slyness is what I'm seeking.
- Oda Nobuna - Picking this up for fun, yet it does seem interesting enough to watch for the hell of it. Your typical ecchi with males turning into females. Kaneda Tomoko voices a ninja named Goemon which should be interesting. As for oda, sexy and beautiful hmm.
- Dog Days S2 - Was impressed with the first and had to go back this one. So much fun. Lovin' Yukikaze in it - Foxy ninja.
- Sword Art Online - This one surprised me in more ways than one. Sure, I seen it with .hack and Druaga no tou yet it still seems unique enough to watch. Being trapped in a game seems suitable for this forum for how bored you guys get
. - Muv-Luv Total Eclipse - This one is a strange one. It has mecha, aliens called beta, a girls-only school to train mecha, and *cough*casualties*cough*. Poor wording, I meant what I'm about to say as strange. I'm on the fence with Muv-Luv, especially when the main army can't even use the tactics they preach to an all-girls military school. It isn't bad, just flawed here and there especially when the army can't shoot the asses of the destroyer class. No wonder the Earth is being gradually over-run when the military can't follow basic tactics.
- Rinne no Lagrange S2 - Seen the first, enjoyed it so I ended up watching the second season. Sure, it is slow but it had enough going for it to keep me interested - Mecha, trancy vibe, music, and the hidden plot littered in each episode.
I may pick up more, depending. I ended up also watching a Canadian show called "Continuum" - Info here - and even picked up "The Legend of Korra". Fun summer nights.......
Side-note: If you end up too picky or serious you'll just end up killing yourself slowly. Have fun!
