This is one of my all time favorite songs. A true musical masterpiece. I first heard it when I played GTA Vice City back in 2004 and I've loved it ever since.

Indeed, it's been in my head the past two weeks. It has a sort of epic opera flavour to it. It'd make a far better Broadway musical than Les Miserables or whatever. I always sing along to the doctor's part.

Hah, that was epic XD
Howlin' Wolf's "Moanin' in the Moonlight" album. I've never really listened to pure blues much, but this is turning out pretty sweet! The songwriting of pre-60s stuff I tend to find hasn't really aged well, mostly because it's become such a cliche of its time that I can't listen without feeling like I'm in a black and white film. But while the blues are a little hard to take seriously these days, Willie Dixon's a great guitar player and Howlin' Wolf is a hell of a singer, so that makes up for it.

Been listening to a lot of Pavement lately.
Pavement's Slanted and Enchanted album is a massive classic in indie rock, and it's only quite recently that I've branched out of that. But this is really nice, in a simple, calming sort of way.

A New band, just barely released their debut album apparently. This is probably the first heavy band with female vocalist that I like. (I acknowledge the awesome power of Angela Gossow and Arch Enemy, but her vocals just don't appeal to me). This chick, Jill Janus is a bit softer but maybe for that more appealing to me. I dig.
Their music videos are silly though. But so are most music videos.

Haha when aren't music videos silly? Good to watch when you don't take them seriously!
Recently got a new album by a band I haven't heard the music of (heard the name, just not the music), War From A Harlots Mouth "In Shoals". One of those few times where I grab something random if it looks alright and has good recommendations. (for fans of Gojira and Meshugguh and jazz they said, it'll be fun they said). So far I'm not disappointed, excellent stuff!
And I got Snoop Dogg's "Doggstyle". Waaaay better than Doggumentary, feels good to listen to something this good haha

One of the most vicious, wilfully unpleasant bands I've ever heard. And I rather love them =D

Slaying work with some Behemoth. Most notably all of Demigod and some songs from Evangelion.
