This is a video I recorded of a 1 hour, 8 minute match between myself as The Hierarchy versus a Novus player. We might not be the 'best' players, but it sure was fun :)

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
Part 5
Part 6
Part 7

Edit: Now also in better quality in a single-file .avi (495 MB)

Enjoy!

Wow I'll have to give this a good view.
Did you decide to do a high def version as well?

I have a 500 MB version which is... higher-def. But I'm trying to find a site to upload it to.

It's not about being original, it's about hiding the fact that you aren't.

Some of us have to work and simply cannot afford the luxury of participating in the beta testing.

The video quality is surprisingly good, anyway.  ;)

It looks so slow and sluggish....and pretty boring :(          Well I hope that only was since Hierarchy is so slow. But the Novus player having a few planes and you your walkers and a boatload of turrets make it seem so boring....only seen 2 of the clips. Watch the rest later.

Another thing I noticed. I thought aircraft worked like in Generals in that they had to go back to an airfield to reload since I read that the Dervish Jets can increase the speed if you doubleclick (or something) and that they got two speedmodes and also move in a big angle.

Well, every game is different and with a 3 walker limit, you'll have to rely on turrets or units to hold areas. And those anti-air turrets are very effective, so once I noticed he had a load of planes, I started putting those down. And the spitter turrets are also great vs fragile Novus.

In some of the later clips vehicles get into play though, so there's some more carnage.
Of course, playing is still more fun than watching ;)

But you're right that it's sluggish. It's a combination of Fraps, my PC (which is getting old; I'm still single core) and the fact that it's a network game.

It's just to give an impression.

You, sir, are a legend.

Acts like this will make not having a beta key that little bit more bearable :(

Thanks a lot.

No, i think he meant its dull. Having watched the first part, i concur.
But lets see how those other six parts turn out ;)

How do you capture buildings? Is it a case of being in the vicinity of a strategic point or are their dedicated units fot it?

Well, for the Hierarchy, Grunts have the ability to capture. The icon for the ability appears near the bottom.

Dunno about the other sides, but I assume it'd be the same. Disciple and Ohm Bots probably.

The latter. Certain infantry units have a "Capture" ability.
