Holy crap! That is one helluva awesome Render! Petroglyph should feel ashamed for not making something like this.
Wait, that is an Orlok model with an Orlok skin from Petro!
It isn't fan-art, it's the ingame character.
Petro don't want to make the game have the same minimal specs as Sub-com, that's why everything is toned down.

That's outstanding work. I gave it a mention on Petro-Gamers.

I see no where of me not saying it wasn't.

The shiny-ness of that thing makes it look like a figurine. Maybe it'll inspire Petroglyph to make one.
Most of the guys here are dying for some figures too...unfortunately its not our call. Maybe if we sell millions of copies, the powers that be might be inspired to make some...I'll take an Orlok, Viktor, and some mutant cows

Millions from a new game from a rather new company, that is releasing a game with close to no advertisement, will be a tough thing to get
Though I absolutely hope that it will be so
Thank you Petroglyph for being here in the dark ages of RTS gaming! May your bright torch lead the way for other developers led astray. You make me happy as long as you stay alive, and I will dedicate my life to thee to make this dream come true!

My favorite is Viktor(I'm not too much of a Gundam-like creatures' fan but there's something kewel about Viktor's design.), but Orlok comes second for sure. Hierarchy has metal and metal is

Novus units are going to look so cool using that method. BTW, anyone see the "Masari style" on Orlok?

Masari style? What is that? Orlok dressed as a Skylord?

Pervert!
No it's the general geometry, the deep grooves that bisect his head, knees and shoulders as well as his legs. They remind me of the grooves prominant on Masari structures, but not lit yellow, obviously.

The Masari grooves are a lot more closer-spaced together and look more like glowing energy lines than actual grooves cut into their structures.

Freelance's avatar has it, or rather, a portion of it.
