I bought and downloaded the game from gamestop. When I run the patch I get this message:
---------------------------
UAWEA Patch Error
---------------------------
Unable to determine UAWEA.EXE location.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
It happens no matter where I put the patch exe file. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks!

Now, on to your question. I'm assuming this is with the standalone patch? Have you tried logging in and installing the patch automatically via Live?

Sorry to post in the wrong forum!
Yes this is the standalone patch... didn't want to touch Live w/ a 10 ft stick if I didn't have to. Any way to get the live patch w/o creating an acct, logging in, etc?
Maybe I'm being paranoid.

I'm running version 1.00.86418
Maybe I'm already patched and it's getting that error because it can't find the old version of the .exe file? If that's the case, you may want to change your error message to something more descriptive.

BTW
1.00.86418 is the shipped version of the game. The day one patch version is 1.00.88419.
