I'm trying to get the BSG Colonial Wars mod working for FoC.

When I run the petrolauncher I get the following error:

See the end of this message for details on invoking

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Can anyone help?

well, if u have read the readme, you should have learned that your supposed to use the mod launcher and put it in a flolder called "Mods" in the gamedata (eaw) or data (FoC) and use the mod's launcher. It will then start up. I cannot do it without another mod that I need and u need the mod launcher for it.  :banging:  :rtfm:  :rtfm:  :wallbash:

they didn't think that people would use the gold pack on xp, they got it before the gold pack came out i think, then upgraded it for vista but not xp...

wish they would come up with the patch, that and that i could get my mods to work on their own...

Have you tried using the .bat method?

Use Notepad and copy this into it.

swfoc MODPATH=Mods\TW

Now replace "TW" with the name of your mod file. Save the file onto your FoC file and add ".bat" to the end so it is a .bat file.

It should be in C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption

Now make a copy of that .bat file and move it to the desktop.
Double click and enjoy!

Hi I am new at this mods and I thought to give it a try. So i download some mods and can't get them to work.
I thought most games come with a .bat file, but not anymore so i am haveing trouble cause there all shortcuts of .exe
Therefore I thought of DLing the modlauncher, it says I need Microsoft Dot.NET Framework 2.0 for it to work.
And As I follow instructions I am DLing the 2.0, then it say this error : This product is not supported on a 64-bit operating sytem.

If anyone who has had the some experience. Please lend me some aid. Thank you greatly appreciated. Thank you before hand.
