Just wondering who everyone there at the studio is doing with FOC being expected soon. Everyone still alive? .gif)
I'll be working with another designer (Torpid) putting together a list of items we'd like to get in our first patch. This includes additional balance, bug fixes, etc. So we'll be playing the game daily to find and fix.

You guys will be playing the game daily?? Online??
Seriously though, I must admit that Petroglyph's overall attitude and commitment to their community is refreshing. I am impressed and shocked to say the least. I have never seen a game community like this and that alone gets me excited. I don't actually play a lot of different games because, well I'm old, but I think I'll be keeping an eye out for stuff from PG.
FoC is definitly more like a sequel (as someone said).
I had a few questions about online play:
1. Will FoC be hosted on a completely different server than EaW (where those playing EaW won't be able to interact with those playing FoC)?
2. What steps have been taking to improve the stability of online game play (sync erros are murderous)?
3. Have you guys considered developing your own portal for the multiplayer community (akin to Battle.net) instead of using Gamespy?
