Well, I'll keep this short and sweet --

It's time for me to be moving on. Petroglyph has been a great home for me for the past few years, but there are some things I'd like to pursue that requires Petro and I to part ways, and this is the best time for us to make a clean break.

I've certainly enjoyed interacting and chatting with all of you in the community here and abroad. Thanks for all the support and passion regarding the E@W and U@W franchises. I think you'll all be very excited about where Petroglyph is going in the future!

Cheers,

Adam "Ishmael" Isgreen

Woah what? You'll be sincerely missed bro. You're contribution into petroglyph and it's games has been awesome, I don't know where we'd be without you.

Good luck for the future, all the best :)

Thank you Petroglyph for being here in the dark ages of RTS gaming! May your bright torch lead the way for other developers led astray. You make me happy as long as you stay alive, and I will dedicate my life to thee to make this dream come true!

You'll be missed Ishmael, I hope the next creative director is good enough to fill your mighty shoes. Do you have a last day? 1-2 weeks? Where are you headed, dear old friend?

This is a huge shock. You will be sorely missed Adam. Good luck to where-ever you may end up.

For Petroglyph, this must feel like losing a limb.

Thanks for the warm wishes.

You'll be able to track my exploits on my web page (www.obscured-view.com), which is going to get a makeover this weekend, since I'll have more time to do stuff with it now!

I'll be here until friday, and I'll be sure to pop in to the forums from time to time to see how things are going.

Cheers,

A-

Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.
