Not the title, the sig size.
A long long time ago...

I eventually shrunk the height to 220 pixels, and then further down to 203 pixels which is the current size. The new one I showed earlier is 215 pixels high.
So... it gets greenlight from you?
Meanwhile I'm stuck at Chapter 18. I just don't know what ideas to put into it. Guys halp or chapter 18 may never get done

How about a Paranoia induced Variant? (just think, if a cat could do all that damage than what will a alien tank do?)

I think we've had enough Paranoia already. Look at how long the cat saga lasted.
Maybe I shouldn't really be asking... I mean I do have ideas I just don't know which to adapt into the next chapter. normally what I do is review the idea in my mind and then try to do the speech bubbles to see if there's enough space to convey the dialogue. if it works out then I draw.
Basically the current plot points are:
- Vertigo, who still hasn't had his aircraft body rebuilt
- Nufai who is now cornered by Novus
- Inquisitorlok, who hasn't been seen after killing Mirabel
The major one right now is Nufai, but I'm not sure how to proceed with him. Oh how things have become so complicated...

Anyway I think I finally have an idea for Chapter 18 but it's gonna be rather meh... I think I'm losing my sense of humour...
EDIT:
Screw that, idea didn't work out. Back to square one.

This chapter I will remember for quite a while due to the sheer agonizing process it took to create it. Here I'll guide you through the development process...
1. Tried thinking of an idea for the comic. Spent all week, got no inspiration at all
2. Eventually after racking my brains managed to think of something. And then later on decided it sucked so went back to racking brains.
3. Finally got an idea and decided to stick with it. Did the speech ubbles and blank panels first.
4. The comic involved Altea so I had to fire up the game to get perspective shots of Altea for drawing.
5. Now comes the agonizing part. Altea was insanely hard to draw due to all the complexities in her outfit, most of all the wierd metal thingy around her neck.
6. After an hour of frustration I got fed up and decided it was time to scrap Altea's official outfit and design a simpler one.
7. And so I spent more time working on a new simpler outfit design. because I didn't know her hair colour and length I retained the headdress for convenience. Everything below it was changed.
8. And the result was this:

No more drawing headaches in future. Any future depictions of Altea will feature this new outfit.
9. Began drawing out the stuff in the panels. Even with a new simplified outfit for Altea it was still hard to draw. The third panel in particular took nearly an hour.
10. At last drawing was done. Final touchups applied here and there, and yay! it's ready!

...after which I had to take a five-minute break
Yeah rant's over.
Only 2 more chapters to go before next volume can be done. good thing is, I already know what to do for the next chapter. Assuming my fickle mind doesn't suddenly want to change things Chapter 19 will be mercifully easier to do...
I really should do a new Charos outfit too. Darned shoulder designs are killing me. I still recall Chapter 6... back then I couldn't fire up the game to take pics of Charos...
I wonder if anyone else in this world invests so much in his forum sig...

BTW if anyone's curious, here's the so-called Chapter 18 idea that didn't work out.

have fun guessing who the dialogue belongs to.
The Nufai pic is a placeholder from Chapter 5 to indicate the position where his head is supposed to be.

Defilolok? What's that?
And yes it is nice to have Inquisitorlok back. It's even better that none of the Masari seemed to be the least bit bothered that he killed Mirabel. Wacky no?

How about Novus somehow gets an Advanced Mutagen equipped Defiler to bring her back?(Granted, she would look hidious and may have lost several key mental functions, but she'd be back)
If not, I bet the Masari could probably do it.

Well the long and short of it is that if I wanna bring her back, I'll find some crazy way to do so. Anything from...
"OMG There was a spare Mirabel Maker Machine!"
to
"OMG there's still a stockpile of Mirabel clones in stasis!"
...you get the idea.

To agree with Slornie, why can't Mirabel end up like a horrible explosion-freak, like in Alien Resurrection with the Ripley clone on the table?

Yeah and then it'll be Inquisitorlok's turn to mock her. lol
Seriously an ugly Mirabel will probably lose comic appeal after one chapter. Unless of course you can find a way to make it work, which is not all that easy. You see with regards to Chapter 18:

I had to plan very carefully how Inquisitorlok spoke to Altea. He has to convey desperation but not lunacy. And in the second panels, he has to seem more badass prior to going all desperate for humour effect.
Inquisitorlok is easily the most vibrant and quirky of all the characters now. It's easy to have him express a variety of things without looking out of character, simply because his personality is precisely like that after the time he spent inside Viktor's internal system.
