Inspired by Left 4 Dead's in-game faux movie posters I have now hatched an idea for us to do some of our own.

Basically the idea is simple. The Unmotivational Posters thread deals with the titular Unmotivational Posters. This here shall deal with movie posters, basically any nonsensical theme you can come up with and work into a movie poster-style image.


I have 3 nonsensical posters below


No prizes for guessing where this was derived from



This here be your typical teaser poster style. The theme comes from Redtech's webcomic for those who don't know.




This one was fun to do, especially filling in the credits at the bottom. The picture was conveniently googled and then digitally tweaked.



With any luck this thread shall rise to the same level of lulz that Ghostly achieved with PF Comics thread and before him, Cheesinator with the Unmotivational Posters thread.

I loved the last, great job there.
Especially the misspelled "his story' part, I first was like "Huh?" But once I saw the title it all became so clear

Yeah the last definitely wins by a long shot. It does have more content and the source image is an actual photograph, not crappy fanart.

I'm waiting for Redtech to come in and totally flip at seeing the second poster. I'll call you guys in to come watch his reaction, should be pretty amusing.

He sure is. I first had a picture of 'Babe', you know the pig from the movie?
But then I accidentally typed Piglet instead of 'Pig' in google, and got the picture I also mentioned above. From that point on, everything was clear to me!

Well considering Dei has already made a Piglet poster I figured I should go with something related but not directly.

Hence I chose to use once again Piglet's avatar



Re-used some stuff from the Delta poster. Can't be arsed to do entirely new stuff at the moment. It's 1 in the morning over here now, going to sleep soon.


Btw it's an action comedy thriller.

This is gold, I cannot stop laughing. Other people in this computer lab are looking at me funny while I'm trying to muffle my laughter. I can't remember the last time I've laughed like this.

I can do this, movie posters are relatively easy things to do.

Blame it on the format of your website. One strip per page forcing me to comb through until I found the reference pics I need. Even though each strip is so small you could consolidate a month's worth of them into one page (same with Penny Arcade I wish they'd consolidate rather than one strip a page. For VG cats I'd understand due to the size of each strip)

First and last time I'm spoofing your stuff, red. You don't make this easy enough for me
