I'll also recommend some young readers books I like because they are simple and fun...

Last of the Jedi -- Jude Watson The series so far has been enjoyable for a short and easy burn

Oh, Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter was pretty good, the graphic novel Darth Maul was also good, um...
That's all I can remember... Oh, the new essential guide to vehicles and vessels; awesome.

The Legacy of the Force series has been very good so far. It starts off with Betrayal.

Anything other than Outbound Flight that deals with the Prequals should be burned along with the movies if you ask me.

I thoroughly enjoyed Zahn's latest novel, Alliance. Was a fun romp that didn't take itself too seriously and came out the better for it. I also highly recommend the X-Wing Series and I, Jedi as good reads, in addition to the Thrawn books. Aforementioned Outbound Flight and its sequalish Survivor's Quest (anything by Zahn, really).

Some of the NJO books were thoroughly enjoyable reads, but alot of the series was passable. Other than that...if you get a Zahn book, you can't go wrong.

uh...umm.....Well, one of my favorite series is the series that is somewhere in the top 5 of fans hating it. I love the NJO series. Thrawn series is the best, though.

Also.....Try TNG: Forgotten War. Wrong Series. Sue me.
