First, if you've seen the final half of season 10 (Like me :D) then don't spoil it for those who haven't (example: Americans)... Ok ^_^

Second, I know there are going to be at least two movies so its not really the end, but its the end of the TV series.

But what did you guys (the ones that have seen 'Unending') think of the final episode?

My opinion, it start of brilliant, got slightly boring in the middle part yet had some itneresting character development and then had a good ending that left a nice happy feeling inside me. The music was prety cool too, some sections of the Camelot music made a return and some event got a remix ^_^

And with Richard Dean Anderson. He was great as jack. Oh yeah, and that's Brigadier General Jack O'neill to you.
I hope that the stargate movies are gonna have everyone from the original SG-1 in it. Jack and Daniel are my favorites though, great actors.

Im a little confused how they could do a movie based on a series that was initially based on a movie...

Personally I lost all interest in SG long ago when it all began to get a little funky, that whole assention crap for instance basically let the writers come up with anything they'd like, they opened the pandora's box to Star Trek style sci-fi, bullshit wins the day every time.

They are making a couple of TV Movies like they did for the First Episode of SG1- Children of the Gods.

The First One finishes the Ori Storyline, the Second opens up for the new SG Series that is set to start in 2008/2009 and also sets up the stars of SG1 who are moving Over to SGA

They are discussing another spin-off that would star Michael Shanks (Dr. Jackson) Also the Samantha Carter character will port over to Atlantis for all of next season and she is also to star in another SciFi series to be aired called Sanctuary.

It has nothing to do with Stargate so I would expect if it is successful Amanda Tapping will be done with Stargate - unless she still appears in more DVD Films of it.

T'ealc last I heard has not been officially offered a full-time gig on Atlantis, although his character will do a few Atlantis episodes he is not under fulltime contract for a season like Amanda is.

I think the series went downhill after RDA left and they invented a new enemy to keep it going, but it still remained entertaining. If you ask me, it lived a full life and is coming to a natural (if maybe late) end.

I think they had lots of cool races that they had for only one or two episodes. I think for seasons 9 and 10 they should have fought that race that was in the episodes 2010 and 2001. They would have made a cool enemy.

When the hell do we get to meet the Furlings?

Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.
