Even the skeptics about global warming admit that we are harming the environment. We are so willing to let the government spend billions on wars and special interests, but making cleaner production and energy facilities is so unimportant for some reason.

You're a christian, and believe that global warming is happening. If you were a true christian, you would believe in neither global warming nor global cooling. God is going to preserve the earth until the end times. I believe that, and you should too.

Where the fudge did that come from? Let's try not to tie two bitterly conterversial topics together shall we? But I might as well comment on it.

I'm christain, and I think global warming is a problem. Duh, God is going to preserve the earth until the apocolypse. But the end of the world might be just around the corner. It probably is. Anyway what do these scientists predict will happen anyway? Some sort of catastrophic world wide natural disaster like in that one movie? Because when we run out of fossil fuels, we run out of fossil fuels and we'll just have to ride our bikes around until the scientists come up with new fuel. but hey that might be a good thing. Forcing people to walk more might help the obesity epidemic.

It seems the difference between radical Christians and radical Muslims is that the Muslims have better connections.

"You're a christian, and believe that global warming is happening. If you were a true christian, you would believe in neither global warming nor global cooling. God is going to preserve the earth until the end times. I believe that, and you should too."

It's a METAPHOR in a story book that teaches you to live well, saying, maybe predicting that someday that will happen. Do you think the apple was meant to be an apple(unless it's apple computer)? Or that the translation errors weren't used to make convenient changes to the story?

Indeed, "true christians" scare me as much as "true islamics"(which maybe aren't so truthful to the real meaning of their teachings also.) do. Maybe they're even better, they at least fight for what they believe while christians preach insane stuff around.

PS:I am not saying it is right to be a terrorist and blow civilians around... maybe blowing enemy military around isn't so wrong though. Of course there would be not the same psychological impact so it makes more sense and scares more people the way they do it.

Are you saying that belief in Jesus Christ, and the belief that he will come again, somehow requires the belief that humans cannot harm the earth in anyway? You think preserving the Earth somehow requires that the earth stay one temperature?

You think that Christians are not to be responsible with the resources we have? That if we want to poison the earth, it's okay because God won't let us? You don't think that He cares? That He likes the attitude of polluting the earth because it benefits my pocket? You think that kind of greed is pleasing to Him?

Do you really think that bad things like murder and genocide are allowed because of our free agency, but we can't harm the earth and consequently everyone on it?

There is nothing biblical that says we can't harm the earth in a way like global warming. Nothing.

I think you just put me off christianity foreever.....blind faith like that is useless.

As for Global Warming, I'm no tree-hugger, but we have to reduce CO2 emissions and clean up our envirinment, that goes without saying.

I have to say it... that is why I'm scared for my sons and son's sons. People who run around saying global warming is bollucks because of a faith based perspective... dangerous to the rest of us. You'll be safe in the heavens after it all ends though right.

Question everything. There is still time. You're young.

Chaos. That's what will happen. Unless you are self sufficient and living far away from major population areas you will be swept up in anarchy and killing. THAT is what causes the end to come. People shooting each other for resources and food.

When those trucks and trains cant transport resources to your town people get ugly. Selfish and dangerous.

Ok. I will now quote the Old Testament of the Bible, in Genesis, after the great Flood of Noah,

Book of Genesis
Chapter 9
Versus 1-4
1"And God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, Be fruitful, and increase in number and fill the earth. 2The fear and dread of you will fall upon all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the air, upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands. 3Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything"

Q: Why did I quote that Excerpt?

A: There is the go Forth and multiply in Verse 1, and then there is the part where god gives dominion of the Earth unto man (Verse 3)

Therefore Doomtrooper45: God is not in command/ control of the Earth's Destiny. Mankind is.

ok drop the bible thing as not everyone here believes in it. i for one am a 'spiritual shopper'.

but anyway, the really question is that says do you believe that Global Warming Exists from what i've been shown at school at A2 geography level i believe that Global Warming is real and that we as inhabitants of Earth and the Stewards of this planet to our Descendants. They have the Right to see this Planet in all its glory and not have to live through a devestating Ice Age if we can prevent it.

if you do not believe in the Warming then why are the Ice Caps and Greenland melting, as has been show the last ice age began because the Global Currents stopped causing mass glaciers across the Northern Hemisphere.
A Simulation run by Sciencetists predict that if the Whole of Greenland melted it would be sufficient to cause this or even if Half the of Greenland or half of Antartica melted. it would be of in suffient quantities to raise sea level by 10 feet.

Now those skeptics out there will say what does this have to do with Global Warming?

Everything! as the Globe warms up the Ice will melt and while when its the sea ice that melts isn't a problem its when the Land bound ice held by the sea Ice melts that a problem occurs as it becomes additional water to what is there. (like the ice cubes in a cup if the ice cubes are floating in the cup then theres no problem when its over flowing with ice then there's a problem.

I have noticed that textbooks are usually leftist. In my science book we have to get concepts like global warming and overpopulation rammed down our throats.

Maybe Text Books in the US, European Textbooks have to be completely factual based.

Lucky. I think it's against the law to have the true facts without any bias printed in any educated book over here. If you want to learn anything, read on the interweb. I had to learn that the hard way...
