Joking. This is a comic strip, not an actual person. They treat CA like an actual person, which is kind of weird. Why would they waste time writing an article about it?

The article is more about how the story parallels a post 9/11 world... not so much that he died.

If you look at the person and the way he treats his companions, he's a real nice guy. If you look at what his clothes really represent, you could see a dark side. Not the whole of it is dark as there are many good things about USA. But I'd have to say there is more of a dark side in many ways than some other countries I know. Captain America Represents the US, so it's usual to see people disliking him especially in countries opressed someway.

Captain America represented the original American spirit, not the government's policies. This was made very clear in the recent comic events where he formed an underground resistance opposing a law which required registration of super-powered humans. I'm not American and not far from your average hater of US foreign politics, but I really liked Captain America.

His death was symbolic, and I don't think they'll be bringing him back. There's no place for a guy like him in modern society.

Yeap, Steve Rogers was a great guy. But there are people who would not see beyond his clothes, and see it as a symbol of it's govern instead of what he was, that's what I meant. I think we might see an successor maybe.
