Well I look in the papers of the Ottawa Citizen and I see people getting pissed off just because Harper wants to change the name of Ottawa Joint Task Force 2 (JTF2) to SS which is taken from Germany WW2. I don't remember what SS Stands for at the moment but I do remember it hearing it constantly in every WW 2 material out there. So my fellow Canadians are complaining about it being Nazi.......yes lets take away the Leopard tanks Germany gave you if it reminds you about Nazi Germany WW2, Lets also take away the imported foods you get from Germany, lets not go to the War Museum that has WW2 stuff Right............I think our society is being extremely pampered and spoiled ever since we made cities. I'll try and find the article for you to comment but I'm really getting annoyed at how many stupid complaints we had recently.

We even have the Quebecers who want to be a Nation in a nation but they can go for it but they would have to rely heavily on trade.

We also get people who gets pissed off since Merry Christmas gets turned into Happy Holidays -.- On American Dad yesterday (Sunday, December 17,2006) Stan Smith wanted to bring back the word "Merry Christmas" and causees a lot of problems.

Not quite sure.. There are times I would think we are being too much pampered indeedy though. Like trying to ban games becouse it can make you violent? Bullshit, it's unstable people who get violent by themselves that dont know the diffrence between games and real life.

Being a troll much? Reason I made this into a new topic was because it focuses on how society is being pampered while others where about a single topic -.- Think of it like a master thread Hope posters post that way also.

the point of this topic eludes me.......... But I think the whole purpose of having a society is to BE pampered. Society makes our lives easier, sort of. While society brings upon us a myriad of social problems (perhaps the worst kind of problems). Then it's easier as in we're not hunting mammoths with spears and rocks and living in shelters made of dung and things like that.

Cheese look harder then -.- People complain about small things like the stuff in first post and then they complain about video games hurting children since parents rather had sex because it was "cool". A blast from the past? Look to the future not the past.

You'd be suprised about what people get enraged about .... God, I am describing myself atm ^^; (In gaming anyhow) Well they get annoyed over anything, so instead of telling children "Turn that off" they start to tell companies to shut down the makers of the show -.-

And this is why you see dark shows where the main character is a suicide maniac who is unstable and always curses the society. The main character or maybe secondary (support) keeps saying how stupid and carefree society is while this character has been through a lot without any mercy. Gantz anime actually shows this very well but I disliked the ending of that series.

Point? Well it is actually tied to my topic by how carefree the people are and do as they wish. People J walk, Prank call, harass one another, push a person in a uniform even if he/she is a store employee with a normal life, or ...I could just go on -.- I also got a few more cards to play before I shut up on this topic for awhile.
