Once a unit is eliminated you can no longer associate a spell with them. You can however play a spell on a mercenary.

Q2: Can Nightfall Cloak card be stacked?

A: No

Q3: When playing Mercenary cards during combat, do they count toward Alesana's special +1 Attack for every Army and Mercenary cards?

A: With Alesana, yes, it works for Mercenaries played from your hand (it'd have to since you can't put Mercs in your Legion area)

More Q&A for Heroes of Graxia

Guardians of Graxia Q&A

Q1: How many cards can be played on a given turn?

A: Unless the rules for a scenario state otherwise, there isn't a specific limit beyond the limit of ones hand count, mana costs, etc.

Q2: Is the Guardian's ability to summon "behind" them only directly behind them or on any row behind them?

A: The Guardian can summon units on any adjacent tile to themselves or on your home row. You must pay the entire cost of the unit. You also may Summon a unit for a cost of 7 less mana, once per your phasing round, directly behind the tile(s) of the Guardian. This is called Guardian Summoning. Terrain restrictions apply. For example you can not summon an Elf unit on a Mountain tile.

Q3: Will a non-player unit with a ranged attack who is adjacent to a player unit prioritize melee attacking or ranged damage?

A: Non-Player ranged units will use their range ability unless there is an enemy unit adjacent to them. If there is an enemy unit adjacent to their tile they will attack with melee.

More Q&A for Guardians of Graxia

Fri, 24 Sep 2010 18:25:34 +0000Board Games Four Guardians of Graxia
Ve3D IGN has introduced so far, Draknal, Oshnuk, and Sype Guardians. It’s kind of a combination wargame and CCG – there’s very little luck in there (apart from the cards you draw, of course) so you find that any errors are down to a bad call – not the game being mean. Quite unlike anything I’ve played in a long time, Guardians of Graxia is a very intriguing beast that certainly gets my brain going – I can’t help but think it’s been designed with expansions in mind though…"

Check out the rest of the review, along with several references to previous Graxia podcasts, at The Little Metal Dog Show website!
Tue, 07 Sep 2010 19:50:22 +0000Board Games Trueblood Guardian at Ve3D IGN
In an exclusive series with Ve3D IGN, we continue to show you all the Guardians in the Graxia world. Oshnuk Hammerblow made an appearance last week. The only thing that sprang to mind was one of the first games I'd ever reviewed - a browser based MMORTS called Dreamlords: The Reawakening - which was ok, but nothing special.
